The house is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains with peaceful views from the front porch that include a field of lavender and a stream. A forested trail network can be accessed at the far end of the lavender field--so bring your hiking shoes. The house is stunning with clean lines, "european" design and decor that includes high-end appliances and fixtures. Francesca is the ultimate host-very friendly and helpful. She provided all the information and details on the house that you would need for an easy check-in, stay, and check-out. From my initial conversations with her when I booked the house to helpful messages just before and during our stay, I felt like I was staying at the house of an old friend. We look forward to staying at Orso Blu on a future trip!

We had an awesome spring break in Anthony’s home with our family. The house was beautiful, clean, free of clutter, and super cozy. Location is perfect for breweries, wineries, and hikes - the best parts of a stay in the Blue Ridge. Plenty of space and great for our young kids and doggies. We loved drinking coffee in the sun room, so much light and nature views. Anthony was also very responsive and clear with instructions so we had zero issues getting in and out. Highly recommend!

Our time staying at the yurt was above and beyond what we expected. The property and the yurt itself are so serene and enjoyable. Michelle is the most friendly host I have encountered, and talking with her about her goats brought so much joy! It is clear from the layout of the yurt to the care of the property all the way through the way they care for each and every guest and Michelle and her family truly love hosting. And that is something worth far more than five stars!

Anything we needed was provided generously and clear instructions on everything. We were able to start our day with the coffee/tea provided via a Keurig coffee maker. Cups, creamer, and bottled water provided. Judy communicated regularly and was easily available if we had any questions.

This place is a gem. Needed a spot to accommodate a large group for a UVA graduation, and the cabin was perfect. Had tons of space, access to a room for board games, and was in such a tranquil area. Michael was super proactive, giving me clear instructions on how to access the cabin and it was ready hours before original check-in. And an easy drive to Charlottesville if needed. Great host and a beautiful place. Highly recommend.
