Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Faial Island

Bruna was great and even allowed to stay late for our later flight.

apartment is up a hill, about 25 minute walk from the ferry port, but a taxi is affordable if you have bags. quick 5 minute walk to a Supermarket that has everything. Lovely apartment, huge TV, nice couch, 2 bedrooms on opposite ends of house. bathroom came with everything we needed, great kitchen also. The terrace was huge and nice seating area, you can see the Volcano on a good clear day, and the port in the other direction. You have to be ok not being in the center of town, but if so, this is a great apartment to stay in.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time with Jörg and Plonja! The reception was warm, the communication super uncomplicated. Everything was exceptionally clean - we have not experienced any other accommodation in the Azores that was so well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen are great, the outdoor area with pool, sauna and sea view is a dream. Despite the proximity of the hosts, you have full privacy. We felt incredibly lucky to stumble upon (& get to book) Jorge’s summer family home: there is not a better view of Horta in the entire area! We loved having our mornings & evenings overlooking the gorgeous bay & town. There were many evenings we had dinner at home instead of out because we knew we could not beat that front yard! We never met Jorge, but he was so warm & responsive we felt like we knew him. His recommendations were terrific (do go to Peter’s Sport Cafe- the food is excellent & the Gin & Tonic, per their & Jorge’s recommendation, is so smooth & to die for ((& we aren’t even cocktail people)). The house was great; we only had one minor issue, & Marco & Carla, the caretakers, (who are such kind, wonderful people), handled it perfectly. We loved Faial so much! Definitely hike the volcanoes, & go to O Moro Quijeria for the best cheese in the world (seriously!). We certainly recommend this house to others & plan to rent it again ourselves :)

Beautiful cottage in a narrow street. Beautiful decor and fantastic roof terrace. Lots of stairs but that was no problem for us. Close to restaurants and other amenities. Filipa was a very nice host

The house is extraordinarily tastefully decorated, so you feel very comfortable, especially in the living room. The outdoor area has plenty of seating. You can look out into the countryside from there. The road in front of the house is hardly used. The kitchen is well equipped. Monserrat was very helpful and quick with our inquiries. Good outdoor corridor for all hikes on Faial.

A nice & quiet apartment. The parking lot directly in front of the accommodation was perfect, the location very good to head to various excursion destinations. Andreia was a very friendly host, we had everything we needed.

Compact but very pleasant modern apartment with a good terrace. There are 2 other apartments attached, plus the owners place next door, but it felt very private. Like most places in the Azores they haven't discovered Smart TV yet. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but functional The walk up to the front door from the street is a bit of a haul if you have lots of luggage or groceries. The shower has no soap, so come prepared. Finally, the living room would be a little tight for more than 2 guests. Property managers were quite helpful in getting us in at the last moment after our flight was canceled. We felt the property was comfortable and well designed - recommended!

We had a great time in Horta. The place has a great garden and is really quiet. In between, you can hear quiet sounds of the sea. Street parking was not an issue. We will be happy to come back.

This house was a lovely spot only 2 minutes from Horta marina. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook meals in the evenings. Sandra was an amazing host - very responsive and flexible. Thanks Sandra!

A beautiful, spacious and cozy house with a stunning view. Looking out to the sea and the islands of the Azores in the morning is something very special. The house offers every comfort and is a wonderful base from which to explore Pico. It is quite and cozy. We enjoyed every moment - from getting up overlooking the sea to an aperitif and sunset dinner. Ana always responded promptly, even Vaina, who takes care of the house, was always available. The arrival was unproblematic, as was the departure. A beautiful spot on earth! Feel free to come back anytime. Thank you for having us!

Paula was very responsive and gave us lots of local recommendations. The place itself was easy to find and clean - had everything we needed. It was a little warm so we opened the windows which brought in some occasional noises from the streets while sleeping but it was manageable. The bench in the garden/common area was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring! Thanks for a lovely stay, Paula :)

Definitely recommend this home. Everything was convenient and beautifully done. The host was kind and made our trip even more memorable.
