This tradicional stone house rightly bears the name "Casa Vista Fantástica". Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The rooms go up to the roof and convey a great feeling of space. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

Our accommodations are located 2 minutes by car and 20 minutes on foot from Vila da Madalena, and include a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed. You can enjoy a sauna and a fire pit.

From the outside terrace you have a commanding view of the beautiful bay to your left and the bustle of the harbour to your right. The home is perched on the side of of Monte Queimado which forms one of the three natural reserves on Faial island, being part of the marine protected area Baía das Caldeirinhas.
