Great place for a family!

Incredibly charming space, close to everything but quiet. Michael is a superb host as well, extremely responsive and helpful.

Lovely apartment, much bigger than we expected. All spotlessly clean and in a great location for all the sites of Horta. Will definitely recommend.

Excellent accommodation for short or long stays. Equipped with everything we need. Close to good restaurants and hypermarkets. Responsive host and gave excellent tips. Vila da Madalena is fantastic and beautiful. I hope to return soon and stay in this space.

Great location with easy parking. The place was spacious and had the amenities listed. We really appreciated the extra towels provided, the flexibility and easy check-in and check-out process. It was also convenient and easy to walk to nearby cafes. A surprise and highlight was the super friendly horse next door.

Great host! Even left some local wine/cheese for us to try & offered to help us with taxi arrangements to the airport. Lovely place to stay in Magdalena!

One word sums up this listing "PERFECT" . Eunice was a lovely lady, who took time throughout our stay to ensure we were comfortable. She was not intusive, but corresponsed using text to check we were ok. Eunice provided more than she needed to and appeared to 'Go the extra mile' for us. She was a perfrct host. In fact this was the best Air B & B experience I have had. Eunice provided a clean, well furnished and equipped house. She provided extras I was not expecting. She had a lovely son, who stepped in when host was busy, just as a point of contact in case of a problem (there weren't any) It was reassuring to know. Location was quiet, felt safe and welcome. We were super well settled in Germano's house! The beds were super comfortable, we slept beautifully and woke up refreshed every day. Note the attention to detail, everything super clean and the kitchen super well equipped, it had everything we needed. Germano was also impeccable in his local suggestions, he got it right, both in the places to eat and in the tours. We really feel at home. Fully recommended.

We had a lovely stay in Armenia’s home - the house is lovely, comfortable, and charming, with all the amenities needed to cook meals in the evening. Armenia was responsive and helpful. The location is peaceful and a short walk from natural hills, a great spot to watch sunset.

The ninth of us felt very comfortable and enjoyed the great view of the sea and the opposite mountain Pico. The location is quiet, a supermarket is a few minutes' walk. Thank you for the warm welcome and the beautiful time!

Nice and warmly decorated apartment where you immediately feel at home with beautiful views over the ocean! Anything you need is present. Location is great for exploring the island. Marianna is a very pleasant and helpful woman with good tips. Recommended!

Absolutely amazing stay! It felt like a dream waking up on the property with birds chirping, roosters crowing, and cows grazing. The home provided everything you would need for a comfortable, clean, and one-of-a-kind stay. It even offered a pool and hot-tub to take in the beautiful views. The additional services we booked through the home were a game changer. This allowed us to get picked up from the airport, alleviating stress and arriving to a delicious home cooked dinner as the sun set. We’ll remember that experience forever. Additionally, the buggy tour and breakfast were as equally unique! Not to mention the welcome basket every renter receives of Azorean delicacies. This stay was worth every penny and I highly recommend everyone experience it at least once. Brigette and Paolo were not only friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable but truly made the trip one for the books.

The house is amazing! 😍 The view is absolutely stunning – you can relax while looking out over the ocean, and if the clouds clear, you’ll see the majestic Pico volcano right in front of you. It’s a super chill spot, just a 2-minute walk from the beach and close to the town center. Waking up to the sound and sight of the ocean was unforgettable. We loved every moment!”

This spot on Pico is absolutely beautiful! Madalena is a quiet town overall, though the bar next door was a little loud a couple of nights—but nothing too disruptive. The apartment is in an ideal location, right in the heart of Madalena. All the tour companies are just across the street, and you can even watch the whale-watching boats head out from the balcony. The host was great—very responsive and accommodating. The apartment was spotless when I arrived, and they were super flexible with check-in. They even let me check in a few hours early and offered to store my luggage in the meantime. Overall, such a great stay—highly recommend!
