Just like the photos; clean and serene. Beautiful and calm neighborhood that is in close proximity to everything you need. Hannafords is a six minute drive, 20 minute walk into town for food and coffee, and we loved exploring Little John Island. We stayed for 8 nights and mostly cooked; expect standard Airbnb pots and pans. Definitely a high step above what you could get in a hotel and it was perfect for us and our toddler (and easy to baby proof!) our daughter loved watching the amtrak go by (it wasnt a bother at all) and the playground a ten minute walk away. Highly recommend to a family

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

Beautiful, well-appointed home. All the little things add up to a stress-free experience. Fully stocked with towels, cooking supplies, even q-tips if you forget your own! By far the cleanest, most comfortable AirBNB I've stayed in. Photos don't do justice to the view from inside and from the patio. Incredibly quiet at night and the feeling of seclusion helped recharge my batteries. Super clear directions and entry instructions. Nothing beats dinner or wine by the firepit overlooking the bay except for the sunrise over the water. Would 100% stay again.

Had a small bachelorette party here for one of my closest friends. It was the perfect place for a more relaxed girls trip but close enough to get to downtown Portland for any shops, sightseeing, and food! Highly recommended.

This house was amazing. So beautiful, both inside and out. There were lots of friendly neighbors in the area too. The host was very quick to respond when we had a question. I'm looking forward to staying here again with my family in the future.

If you’re looking to stay in Portland, this is the place! Everything about the property was pristine. It felt classic and elegant, but with modern touches. Directions were easy and clear, linens and amenities were fantastic, and communication with the host was always very prompt. It’s located on a beautiful quiet street, but only 5-10 mins to downtown Portland and the bridge over to South Portland. Don’t hesitate to book this place for your next stay.

The place was great! very cozy and comfortable with a great location to so many beautiful state parks in an adorable town. Awesome that it's so close to Portland even though it felt like a world away because of how adorable the town is. the hosts were great, Deborah was so Incredibly sweet and offered so many fantastic restaurant and food recommendations (we followed several of them!). They had so many things available for you just in case you forget something (even umbrellas and rain coats!) Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Normand and his wife were simply amazing. From the eggs and snacks that were waiting for us when we arrived to the homemade cookies on our check out. The place was very cozy and comfortable with tons of toys and games for kids and adults. Normand was very accommodating to any request and even helped me chase the puppies when they accidently got out. I would highly recommend this!

This was a great place to accommodate five or six people. The kitchen was well equipped with all the tools we needed to cook at home, including several spices. We enjoyed a lovely patio to sit on in the back. There were a few board games available that we enjoyed. This was a great option!

David and Valle’s house is welcoming, and it was just right for our family get-together. The kitchen is very well set up for cooking, and the counter is both beautiful and a great place for gathering and conversation. There are many lovely touches in the house. We appreciated the yard and gardens, and our dog loved the walking trail. The location is peaceful but just a few minutes from Portland. David communicated well and offered helpful ideas for our visit.

We always love our stay here and will always be our first choice in the area!

Cute place! I enjoyed my stay. The hot tub was hot when I arrived, which I didn’t expect but highly appreciated!

My dog and I had a great time here and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We found lots of dog-friendly hikes and nature reserves nearby within 15-30 minutes . Otherwise we enjoyed the peaceful yard and small brook on the property. Beautiful and thoughtful rental, with very friendly hosts.

Get spot for the great outdoors. Pamela was super responsive! The cabin maxes out at 3 guest, keep that in mind when booking.

We have stayed at Jackies place twice now and enjoyed it just as much this time as the last. Even though it rained for two days the house is plenty big enough to spread out. We had to change our reservation days twice because of circumstances and Jackie was very accomidating..

This was my second time staying at Terrill’s place and it was just as lovely as I remembered! It’s such a peaceful place, surrounded by natural beauty, to relax and unwind. I’ll definitely be back again!

Off the grid enough to feel completely alone in the woods, but close enough to where you can get dinner or find other things to do with only a short drive. Highly recommend.

What an amazing hosts! When i check in they both came and visited and gave me a grand tour of things of the place. Showed where the lake was to kayak, recommended places to eat, and visited. Michael was quick to respond making sure i was doing great. I would totally go back and rent their place again! Thank you so much!

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

Wonderful quiet space that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. It rained our whole weekend there but the warm cabin made it absolutely amazing. It's a fantastic place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a cup of tea with the people in your life. Highly recommend staying here. Marie is a fantastic host and was easy to communicate with the entire time and made us feel very welcomed.
