We had a wonderful stay at Whistling Thrush Cottage in Bhimtal. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. Everything was well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in the hills!

This property is an absolute gem — stunning views, serene surroundings, and a charming old-school vibe that made the whole experience feel special. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the meals they prepared were some of the best we've ever had — fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. My daughter had the time of her life running around and exploring the beautiful grounds. The birds and flowers throughout the property added a magical, almost storybook-like quality to our stay. For anyone who loves nature, this place is pure joy. The location is fantastic too — close to some wonderful cafés like iHeart and Zooby’s, and just a short drive from Sat Tal, an underrated gem for those seeking a quiet escape surrounded by nature. As someone who enjoys birding, I’d return in a heartbeat just for that experience alone. Highly recommended for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to truly unwind in a beautiful, peaceful setting.
