We have NORTHERN LIGHTS on clear winter nights(from September to March) and normally a lot of snow in the winter! The house is centrally located about 1 km from the shop/train and bus/eatery ,but at the same time there are countless hiking areas both on foot and on skis nearby. A beautiful and unique location in Rognan (3km away from the city center) & close to Bodo (1h by train). Adapted for family, groups, this big wooden house has a special atmosphere. With a stunning view on the fjord, the sea is accessible, perfect for summertime ! There are plenty of hikes in the area (and a lighthouse nearby), and short drive to the mountains. The house has 5 rooms, 2 living rooms, a full-equipped kitchen and a warm and cosy bathroom with shower, bathtub, and washing-machine.

Evening sun on the veranda. Fantastic area for looking at street art, going on mountain walks, picking mushrooms/berries or just enjoying the tranquility. You can visit the mining museum and take a train into the mountains to see old mines. Sulitjelma can also offer good hunting and fishing.

Single room with own entrance

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to grocery-store, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light.
