There are large expanses and nature experiences close to Gudenåen with rich bird life and good hiking opportunities - both on foot, by bike and by canoe on Gudenåen. The apartment has a French balcony overlooking the sunset over the hilly fields along the Gudenådalen. 15 minutes to Randers and 7 minutes to Langå by train to Aarhus C, which can be reached in 25 minutes.

There is a lovely south facing terrace with solar heated outdoor shower and a great view of fields. The apartment is 73 m3 with its own entrance from the courtyard where it is possible to park. The apartment consists of kitchen-living room and living room, bathroom with user, bedroom with double bed. In the living room there is the possibility of 2 extra sleeping places on the sofa.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. From the top floor of the home, there are great views of the fields and forests, where we often see deer and other animals. Eat out when the weather permits at the lovely garden furniture set right outside the door. There are sleeping spaces on each floor, so if you are two couples, or two colleagues, or parents and older children, you can sleep separately. We have agriculture, so there is the possibility of spotting a tractor or other agricultural machinery in action.

Smingehytten er en bjælkehytte som ligger ugenert omgivet af marker, å, enge og skov. Hytten ligger med adgang til Gudenåen og med Gjern bakker som baghave. Hytten ligger tæt på Gudenåen, 50 m., men ikke direkte ud til åen. Hytten er omgivet af uspoleret natur med fred og ro og et rigt dyre- og fugleliv. I området omkring hytten er der rig mulighed for aktiviteter som mountainbike, vandring, golf, kano, kajak, badeland, ridning mm. Hytten ligger 15min. kørsel fra Silkeborg og 45min. til Århus.

Gæstehuset ligger for enden af privat grusvej, i forbindelse med et fritidslandbrug som har heste og privat skov. Naturen er lige uden for døren, og hvis du er heldig ser du både rådyr, ænder og fasaner. Du er velkommen til at gå en tur i den tilhørende skov, på stierne. På grunden findes natursti, der går fra Laurbjerg til Resenbro. Beliggenheden er midt mellem Århus, Silkeborg, Viborg og Randers, (25-35 Km) og dermed tæt på mange seværdigheder. Der er 2,5 km til købmand og pizzeria/burgerbar.

Holliday apartment in the middle of the nature

Cozy apartment with private terrace and garden amidst the tranquility of the forest only 17 km from Aarhus city. Perfect base for relaxing after holiday experiences in East Jutland. The evening sun can be enjoyed on the terrace and the large lawn area invites to various games for children and adults. The surrounding forest invites to hiking where the opportunities to see birds and wildlife are great. Your dog is very welcome and must be kept in a line to protect the wildlife and our cat.

The home is located in Ølsted close to Aarhus. Free parking space and city bus right to the door. The home is newly renovated and spacious with room for 2-4 overnight guests. There is a hallway, living room and bedroom. In the living room you will find a sofa corner (sofa bed), a dining nook, and a relaxation corner. In the bedroom there is a double bed. In addition, there is a bathroom and well-equipped kitchen with dining nook. From the kitchen there is access to the terrace.

The nearest major cities are Randers, Århus and Silkeborg.
