Splendid terrace magnificent view

Small apartment bathed in light. Confortable and snug. On the 7th (top) floor with lift/elevator. Facing south. The pretty terrace, with its magnificent view overlooking Paris, is ideal for meals and relaxation. The city's beautiful monuments can be admired at all hours of the day and night. The apartment is situated at the foot of the Sacré Coeur with the funicular railway to take you to the top of the Butte Montmartre. It is located in a small, calm, street away from the bustle of tourist activity. Owing to where it is situated this charming apartment provides further advantages : - a lively neighbourhood with many shops within 5 minutes walking distance, - three nearby metro stations, Anvers (line 2), Abbesses (line 12) et Barbes-Rochechouart (line 4), for easy and rapid access to the center of Paris, the main railway stations, and other places of interest during your visit. The apartment has just undergone complete renovation and has recently been placed on AIRBNB lists. A fully equipped kitchen opens onto the living room. For convenient preparation of meals all appropriate facilities are provided (refrigerator, grill, oven, induction cooker, saucepans, kettle and other kitchen utensils). The bedroom, with its double bed (140X200 cms), will enable you to sleep comfortably and wake up in the morning to a marvelous view of the Parisian sky-line. A small, secluded balcony provides an ideal setting for your morning cup of tea or coffee. In the living room there is an extra sofa-bed (140X190 cms) for the benefit of one or tow more guests if required. There is a small, well-lit bathroom with shower and toilet. The following facilities are also provided : TV, Blue-ray player, Wi-Fi, vacuum cleaner, electric iron, wardrobe etc. There is also a launderette further down the street. We should be happy to assist in providing any further information that might be required (what to do, what to see etc). We are eager to welcome our first visitors and obtain feedback on their stay.

It was a joy to stay at Elio's place. Elio is a wonderful person. Always cheerful, prompt with responses and kind. He helped me experience Paris like a local. I was also lucky to experience some of his cooking, honed with years of experience. He can be a mentor for people, teaching them what joy de vivre really means. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at his place. There is a lot you can learn from him while enjoying Paris.

Happy is a very kind and thoughtful host. She responded quickly to all my questions and was flexible and accommodating throughout my stay. I feel so lucky to have spent my first time in Paris at her lovely home. I also enjoyed a wonderful time with her adorable pets. The location is just wonderful! Two metro stations serving 3 lines are only 5-7 minutes walk away. Thanks to Pascal's amazingly detailed and illustrated instructions, it was quite easy to find. The room is small, but clean and tidy. It has many things that will make your stay comfortable: microwave, kettle, fridge, fan, iron and even an ironing board. And even an umbrella :) The bathroom and toilet are shared, but I did not suffer from it. My special thanks to Pascal and Corinne for their friendliness and hospitality.

Very quiet and safe place. The house is large and is close to a large market (20-minute walk). There is a bus stop in front of the house that takes you to the main train stations. Easy to make check in. Sofiane responded quickly to all messages. The stay was excellent overall. Only three things bothered us (and I think it is necessary to warn future residents): the house is clean but the building is not clean and so there are many cockroaches that enter the house. Basic products such as dish soap, laundry detergent, seasonings (only salt), toilet paper (only one for 30 days) were not provided. It was the first Airbnb that did not provide these items (I had to pay for the bath gel and shampoo, which were the only ones provided afterwards). Finally, a heater is advertised in the house but we were informed that it only works in winter, but in other seasons it is very cold at night and the duvet is thin (we had to sleep in thick clothes).

Marie is very welcoming. She sends you plenty of information before your arrival to easily find the accommodation. The whole apartment was very clean. It is located in a rather quiet neighborhood and residence close to the metro. In addition, there are plenty of small touches such as small soaps in the shower, a bottle of water in the room or a few things available for breakfast.
