We offer you a cozy studio in the countryside, in a quiet neighborhood on the slope with fantastic views of the oldest city in Switzerland. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the train station to our house. With large suitcases, I recommend taking a taxi (CHF 15.00). Our house is located on a slope. It goes uphill quite a bit and has many stairs. From the house it's a 5-minute walk to the old town.

A wonderful gem. Stylish and furnished with great attention to detail with everything you need. Super comfortable bed, cozy sofa lounge, simply GREAT. We were received very warmly and uncomplicated by Daniela and were allowed to spend great days in the Chlara. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Maiensäss.

Tobias' apartment is very modern and very clean, there was nothing to complain about. Tobias' house is located in a cul-de-sac in the middle of other residential buildings, it is very quiet. Tobias is very friendly and sent us a very detailed description for arrival. We arrived earlier and were easily allowed to enter the apartment earlier. In wonderful weather we were also able to use the seating area, although it was not until the beginning of March. A Volg grocery store is within walking distance in the village, but unfortunately there is no other cafe or restaurant. We enjoyed it very much.

Funky peaceful flat

Such a lovely place, in a peaceful area despite being just a few minutes walk from the train station. All we could hear were the birds singing and we had a lovely view from all the windows. It was lovely to see the trees and the alps in the background. The ‘winter garden’ is a great place to end the day with a glass or two of wine. There are so many good restaurants right on the doorstep and Lidl or Manor Foods are both just a short walk away if you want to cook for yourself. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the utensils you need. Susan was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and leave our luggage while we explored the area. We were also able to wash our clothes while there which was a bonus as we were travelling across Europe with minimal luggge! If you’re a runner, there’s a lovely route that takes you along the river and through some trail/woodland which we would highly recommend. We would definitely come back to this beautiful place. Thank you Susan!

Nice and cozy cabin with beautiful view towards mountains. Very clean and neat room and toilet, sufficient life supplies( paper, towel), also a big yard with stone pizza stove, swing and hanging bed. Loved the stay.
