Comfortably restored, it has a bedroom with a double bed (+ a mattress on the floor on request), a living room (convertible sofa) with kitchenette and wood stove, separate toilet, bathroom with enameled bathtub and is extended by a veranda. The house is located in a small quiet village, surrounded by animals (horses, donkeys) 4 km from the A23 Bordeaux-Lyon exit and 65 km from the Mont Dore ski slopes.

Our family home, a typical 1896 Corrèze farmhouse, is located in the heart of the Milles Sources plateau. Refurbished, for our holidays we want to discover this little corner of France that is still wild. The hamlet of Neuvialle, both very quiet and vibrant because of its inhabitants, is the starting point for a multitude of hikes directly on foot from the house, through the coniferous forests, the heather moors, and the pastures where lambs graze.

The Rioux house

Nestled on the edge of a peaceful hamlet, the Maison des Rioux offers a relaxing stay in absolute calm, ideal for recharging your batteries as a couple, with family or friends. You can observe deer, foxes, hares, badgers... from your windows. It is also ideally located to explore the Millevaches plateau, several sites of which, located in the municipality, are within walking distance: Les Cars ruins, the Maisons mill, the Longeyroux peat bog...

Station lamp post

You will sleep in the former lamp storehouse of the Pérols-sur-Vézère train station. You will have a view of our garden, the sheep certainly, the chickens as well as the rails. These small regional trains stop 10 times a day and do not run at night. This small habitat has been completely renovated with salvaged materials. The stone walls are original and therefore restored with cement and lime mortar.
