House was beautiful and perfectly set up for accommodating a larger group. The pool, hot tub, and games were all well maintained and a ton of fun! The wooded backyard and tall fences make it feel like you have no neighbors at all, making for a very peaceful setting. Meghan was very helpful, responsive, and kind. We highly recommend both property and host!

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying with Harriet. It is an amazing place located in a great spot to get to the beaches, restaurants and fun things to do in town. Communication with Harriet was easy and she was very quick to respond the couple of times we communicated with her. We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to find another excuse to stay again!

Jennifer’s home was absolutely amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared in every way. It was the perfect place for our family getaway. The location of this house is in a private quiet setting but close to so many things. The kids loved looking out the front window and seeing the horses right across the street. The house was very clean and exactly how it was described, nicely decorated without over doing it. We utilized every part of the large property for volleyball, football, cooking out and eating at the picnic table, bonfires for making smores and picking wild flowers. The pool and hot tub was very clean and nice. The bedrooms are large and perfectly accommodated our family of 10 with 2 littles in pack n plays. There were plenty of items provided to make our stay easy, dishes, cookware, pool towels, board games, and pool items. Brandon was a great host and extremely responsive before and during our stay. When we had a question about the air conditioner on our first night, he responded within 10 minutes and then sent someone out to handle it. I would highly recommend Brandon and this house for a family get away.

We just left mikes place and are already planning when we can go back! We did a girls weekend in south haven and the backyard and pool area were immaculate. It was sunny and 90+ degrees all weekend so we did not leave the pool! It was wonderful, clean, and peaceful. Definitely coming back as soon as we can for another girls weekend!

We had the best long weekend away from the city here! The home was bigger than it seems and was perfect for our group. The yard is beautiful with lots of places to explore. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and letting our dogs play in the yard! We will be coming back next year for sure!

I stayed here to celebrate my 26th birthday with friends and to say that we were satisfied feels like an understatement. From the decor, the accommodations, the attention to detail, to the location, and the overall responsiveness - We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate! This is your sign to book it!

The Dacha house is absolutely beautiful! The decor was a great mix of old and new...stunning! The kitchen and dining area can hold 12 people easily. I am very jealous of the amazing kitchen! They have all of the little gadgets in the kitchen as well, blenders, toasters. Ice maker in freezer works, so no need to stop for that. There is a great trail out and through the back yard. Laundry room has another vanity and sink which was helpful for those of us getting ready in the mornings. Beach towels are provided and plenty of towels/washcloths for your stay. The house does get a bit warmer with each flight you go up (3 stories including the attic). Fans were in all the rooms though, so that was helpful and an extra A/C unit in the attic. We had a great time! A few local recommendations for those visiting the area: Fuel (bar and grill down the street), Norms Ice Cream, Sweet Temptations, Village Baker, Pronto Pups and Stable Inn! This cottage is the perfect getaway! It’s remote enough that it feels peaceful (and is surprisingly quiet) but still a very quick drive to downtown and all the local attractions. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the beach but we loved that we could get to and from without having to load stuff up into the car. The cottage is absolutely adorable and easily fit our family of 5. I was surprised at how welcoming the neighbors at the nearby cottages were, they gave us good recommendations for local places and were not put off by having tourists amongst them. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing!! Great area right next to the river and bike path the hot tub was amazing every night and getting to all the cities near is perfect being centrally located

We had the most amazing, peaceful, long weekend on the lake. Nothing beats being able to sit right on the dock and fish all day or float in the kayaks right in front of the house while reading a book. The hosts were so kind and helpful during our stay and made us feel right at home. We cannot wait to come back!! :)

What a lovely space for a calm getaway. The horses were too precious ! I only wish there had been a hair dryer and a bottle opener, but we made do. Otherwise, all we needed was available and then some. Thank you !

Great Neighborhood! Thea has thought of everything! Nice welcome gift that we never did get a chance to use so we left for the next guest but the thought was so appreciated! The labels on cupboards were super helpful! Nice walk to Lake Michigan. We had 7 people and were very comfortable here.

Thank you to Katherine for the clear and quick communication! If we had any questions or concerns she was extremely easy to get ahold of. We absolutely loved watching the Canoe teams while eating chicken tacos we cooked up in the kitchen on the deck, facing right over the water! We cannot wait to stay again, it was a perfect private area to relax and quick drive to the John Ball Zoo for the Chinese light festival. Thank you again ☺️

This place lived up to the hype! It was tucked in a serene wooded area with the beach a short distance away. The stay was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities needed for our five day stay, including super comfortable beach chairs. We spent many hours reading and playing chess in the three season room. It was nice the place was equidistant from Saugatuck and Holland, making exploring both towns easy. One disclaimer for anyone with mobility issues—Laketown Beach can be extremely challenging to access (particularly on the way back) since it is a large hill and a super sandy trail. Something to keep in mind when booking.

We love this home. It is our second time staying— 5 adults and 2 young kids. The location cannot be beat. The house is clean and beautiful, stocked with everything you need for a Grand Haven vacation. No one wanted to leave when it came time for check out. Thank you for all the memories! We will be back again next June!

The house was perfect for us. It was peaceful, relaxing and close to the things we wanted to do. We were close to Grand Haven, Muskegon and Whitehall. We ended up getting ice cream in Fruitport, too. Tom was very hospitable and had bottled water and some other drinks in the refrigerator for us. He also provided coffee. It was a wonderful stay at Tom’s place.
