Holiday houses in Filecchio

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

Sara was immediately helpful and proactive, helping me to find the place and sending exact coordinates. There was plenty of room to park which was delightful coming from Milan. Her folks from nearby met me to show me around and give me the keys. The house was big, beautiful and clean and very well stocked with all the necessities. Since I was alone, I stayed in an upstairs single with a gorgeous balcony with a stunning view of a classic medieval Italian hill town. I met the locals and they were super nice- I even went on a hike with one who showed me the beautiful stream valley (the Ania). The terrain and culture is absolutely storybook! Made lots of forays to Barga for dinner and entertainment. Wonderful time thank you Sara and Paolo Great WiFi too!

Great stay - we enjoyed every moment of it!

Simply an oasis of peace, we are super happy with our stay in this property and with having chosen Giulia and Sabrina! We needed to get our heads out of the daily routine and this structure with the view in the greenery regenerated us even for just one day! Everything was clean and special, beautiful tub, we had a lot of fun but also relaxed, my child didn't want to leave! The breakfast brought in the morning is also fantastic! Thanks for this experience, as soon as we have the chance we will definitely want to come back, we highly recommend it!

This was the best place we stayed on our Italy trip! The region is so unique, with winding mountainous roads, lush forest, and ancient buildings. The property was very clean, with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and spacious, and the view was magnificent! Lindie was a fantastic host, very responsive and gave us very useful recommendations for the local restaurant and hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want a unique experience in the mountains!!

Our stay in Tuscany was absolutely incredible. Palmi's place was gorgeous! It's set in the mountains with views on all sides, a large patio which includes a covered outdoor kitchen and dining area, and multiple pools. There was plenty of room for 9 of us to stay. The house itself is a beautiful, 180 year old estate. The age does mean it comes with some quirks, but nothing that impeded our stay. There was a slight leakage issue but Palmi and his staff were incredibly responsive and quick to help resolve it, and it did not ruin our time there at all. Palmi also was a huge help with our planning. He gave us a wine tasting from his cellar on the property, coordinated a private chef (who was amazing!) to cook for us twice, and gave us recommendations of things to do in the area. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay again!

The villa was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The setting was beautiful and the surrounding countryside stunning. Barga is a lovely unspoilt Italian town. Ann was a perfect host, offering help with bookings and lots of suggestions for walks (including in the mountains). The accommodation is spacious offering lots of privacy and the pool was lovely. Highly recommended!

The most beautiful house in quiet surroundings, with magical views. Rachel has decorated the house thinking of every little detail. She has respected the old (beautiful old wide plank floors upstairs, tilefloors downstairs and beams both upstairs and downstairs), still she has managed to make the house modern in a right way. I warmly recommend this place to everyone who want some peace and quiet in their lives, with a hint of magical fairydust. I left a piece of my heart here, and will most certainly come back! The surroundings offer a lot from stunning hikes to hustle and bustle in Lucca. Rachel greeted us very warmly, she gave us great advice, and the welcome basket was awesome!!
