Braylsham Castle

We wanted a family evening together to remember and this property delivered! The obviously devoted planning and inspiration to develop such a peaceful setting into a ‘World of Pure Imagination’ was amazing. We sat outside eating and listening to many different species of birds singing! (Identified by the Merlin App). Wi-Fi, knights in armour, banqueting table, debates about whether the grandfather clock was vertical- or the walls, playing games together. Lovely combination of Alexa playing the right music with feeling you’d stepped back to a time before technology, truly the best of both worlds! Thank you.

Modern country villa, stunning gardens and view

Little Rock was the perfect place for our group of family and friends to socialise and relax. The building is modern and in great condition. I'd highly recommend this for large groups or families who want peace and serenity, with all the comforts of home.

A country barn & forest retreat

JunuRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Ros and David were amazing hosts! They were super easy to communicate with and really flexible with check-in and checkout, which made everything really smooth. We had such a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. It was very peaceful & perfect for switching off and just enjoying the surroundings. The little touches made it feel really special. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some snacks which was sweet. The meal tickets for the local pub were also a lovely extra and made for a great night out. The hot tub was amazing after a day out, and the vintage radiogram was a fun bonus, we loved playing music on it in the evenings. All in all, a comfy, charming spot with great hospitality. Would love to come back!

Luxury Studio-incredible view-peaceful getaway

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Can highly recommend a stay at Roberta's lovely property, it has everything needed for a few days away. Peaceful with great views & garden to enjoy. The studio is beautifully done, with very comfy large bed & chairs for relaxing in. Bonus of proper large bath towels! The few breakfast bits, water & fresh milk were very welcome. Good instructions on how to use everything & helpful details on the area etc. Also had a cooling unit which was very needed in the warm weather, as whilst all the glass gives wonderful views, it is also makes it very warm. Got some wonderful strawberries for breakfast from the local run village shop. Did not need to ask Roberta for anything but felt from communication beforehand that nothing would have been too much trouble.

Holiday Cottage, edge of Ashdown Forest

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely time, peaceful and surrounded by nature! There was deer in the garden most mornings which was lovely to see. Only downside was the grass hadn't been cut which limited the space my dog could use in the garden. Everything was clean and the host was responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again 😊

Cozy historical cottage on edge of Ashdown Forest

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic short stay at this cosy and well-equipped holiday cottage. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, peaceful countryside surroundings made for a relaxing retreat, yet it was also conveniently situated for our plans. The property has some really nice features that add charm and character, making it feel like a real home away from home. Thank you.

Former Game keepers lodge with woodburner

ZoeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sally's lodge is a piece of heaven. The photos do not do it justice so expect a lovely surprise. It fits in its environment perfectly: the old-world charm of East Sussex. It throws you back to a time when the world might have felt peaceful, genteel, smelling of wildflowers and log fire, yet, with all the mod-cons. The very best of both worlds. Sally is an attentive, reactive and kind host. I felt warmly welcomed after long day of flight delays, as if I'd come home. A home in a parallel universe where all is well. I truly did not want to go back to my home in the real world!
