Rundt Hellesylt er det mange ruter til fine fjellturer, som den nyrestaurerte postvegen over Ljøbrekka, og vegen over Flofjellet til Flo i Stryn. Ved Skylstad i Norangsdalen starter stien til Slogen, for dei som ønsker ein meir krevende tur. Fra Hellesylt til Union hotell på Øye er det 23km. Strandafjellet med gondol til Roalden 34km
