Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Flacq District

The villa is a slice of heaven and our only regret is that we didn't stay there longer. The place is exactly like in the pictures in a beautiful location that isn't touristy but located close to many hotels if you want to eat out, and also a walk away from the village. We will never forget the changing colours and moods of the sea we experienced from the deck. What made it even more special was the warmth and responsiveness of Vincent, who was very friendly and full of suggestions and ideas of things to do, places to eat and explore and Asha, the caretaker and her lovely family! They made us feel at home from the get go and Nisha, Asha's daughter has her own taxi and is a perfect person to plan your trips with across the island if you do not have your own car. We highly recommend her services and suggest you discuss tour options with her. Overall, we have already made such great memories from our time here and highly recommend Vincent's place to anyone reading this! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely house. The location is superb, so is the garden.

We stayed at Natasha's place in March-April 2025. The host was very friendly, the house was very convenient, cozy and beautiful. The house was very close to the ocean. It's a nice choice for large families like ours. We were so glad to stay there. Wonderful place, amazing host! We were delighted! Everything works just fine in the house, house is very functional. Maids came to clean the house almost every day and they also cooked super delicious breakfasts for us. Natasha is so kind and supportive! We fell in love with her. Natasha, if you are reading this- we will definitely come next year for 2 months:) Best place we stayed ever.

we had the most amazing stay at Elodie's beautiful home! we will definitely go back and absolutely recommend this stunning home to anyone without a doubt. the home is incredibly beautiful, so much so that we wish we had stayed longer. we felt right at home immediately and enjoyed being in superbly well equipped home. Elodie, went way over and beyond for us with our late arrival and we are truly for grateful for that! we give Elodie's stunning home a solid 11/10 and look forward to visiting again!

We were well received, the setting is beautiful, paradisiacal. Isabelle has always been very responsive and attentive to us, it's very appreciated. Melisia was also very sweet and nice, having a clean house every day on vacation and a nice advantage. We traveled with a baby and all the amenities were available, no complaints. We would definitely recommend it.

The villa was absolutely stunning - the design and decor of the villa was so tastefully done and resembled something you’d find in a boutique hotel. We’ve stayed in plenty of air b n b’s, but this one has to be our favourite. Great place to socialise indoors and outdoors. We had a rental car with us which was handy, because the shops/restaurants are a short car journey away. We ate at green island beach restaurant and la case poisson, which were both great and enjoyed visiting belle mare and palmer beach which is about 15 min drive from the villa! Loved staying here and hopefully we’ll stay again in the future.

The stay at Stephanie's apartment was wonderful! The apartment is at least as beautiful as in the photos, if not even more beautiful. Especially great is the outdoor area with a kitchen and pool. The large shower is also great. In the kitchen there is everything you need, including a small basic equipment, e.g. vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, etc. Everything was sparkling clean. Stephanie and her husband are super nice. She always responded quickly and kindly to messages and even prepared a nice fruit plate for us to welcome us. The check-in was flexible and hassle-free. We felt very comfortable and would fully recommend the apartment at any time.

we had a great time at Villa Les Dunes. The house is large (be careful, the master suite is far from the children's rooms, perfect when the children are not very small). and its location is very private. The terrace is very functional and the ocean view is beautiful. The pool is very nice and very well maintained. Rati, who took care of us during the stay is a pearl: preparing breakfasts and a delicious meal per day, absolute luxury!! Great kindness and discretion, we could not have had any better! The beach in front is accessible on foot directly from the house, be careful however it is not ideal for swimming (wind and waves, rocks, seaweed, a little pollution), but perfect for fishing, crabs running and beautiful shells!

accommodation as described, very clean with good bedding very well located to discover the east ,good restaurant nearby and shop a minute's walk away hosts: Kerstin's smile and kindness matched visham's kindness we punched a tire when we arrived on the 2nd day of our stay and visham took care of calling the renter for us and managed the arrival of a repaired wheel while we were dining at the restaurant... the next day the hazard lights no longer stopped, it was visham again who took us out of the galley while we visited the deer island... thanks again to visham and Kerstin for these troubleshooting and your good advice IN SHORT, AN ADDRESS NOT TO BE MISSED Mickaël and Valerie

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is comfortable, clean, in a beautiful peaceful environment. The pool and garden are just as nice. Annalisa is welcoming, friendly and available. Thank you for everything Annalisa :)

We had a wonderful time at Roshni's place. The apartment was very spacious, clean and tidy. we loved the location right on the beachfront and the nice pool to cool off when it's too hot! Everything went smoothly from booking, check-in and check-out.

We had a great stay, our interactions with the host were minimal but her instructions were clear, check-in and check-out was seamless and we didn’t need any help during our stay. The flat is huge with a very large kitchen very well equipped and a big dining table facing the sea. Bedrooms and washrooms are also spacious and comfortable. Everything was pristine clean except for the washrooms which are fully equipped in black (washbasins, toilets, etc) and it is very difficult to maintain those spotless but that’s nitpicking the washroom were overall very clean. We didn’t use the society’s facilities but we saw two really big swimming pools. There are 2 parking spots which would be very convenient for groups with 2 cars. The society has a high security even though we never felt unsafe that’s worth noticing. The beach is beautiful and great for long walks. Right in front of the flat there was quite a lot of algae corals but a little further on the right it’s perfect for a swim.

It was a superb experience with Kevin. Our transfer from the Airport to the apartment was organised prior our arrival in a private car and thats already positive and relaxing After a long trip. The apartment was very modern clean,spacious with all confort needed with a huge terrace with the Mountain panoramica view One of my best Airbnb i stayed. Breakfast was offered for the First night as biscuits,milk, coffee,tropical fruit juice and a locale rosé wine and even a basket of local fruits. A guide south tour was organised by Kevin and a private boat trip also was organised Upon our request,and thats made our stay even wonderful. I Will definetely recomend Kevin's house to all Airbnb Community for a wonderful stay. I Will definetely return back soon.

Beautiful apartment,true to the photos, and very spacious. Anahita's pool and restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away. As well as the transfer boat to the beach at the deer island. Ravi was a very good host, very responsive, he organized our transfer back and forth to the airport and made me a rental car available that was already there, very convenient. It's a very good value for money, I won't hesitate to come back.

Fantastic 4 night stay - Yulia was very communicative right from the start and all instructions were clear and she helped us to organise car hire through a local agent, Nazim, who met us at the airport. The property was spotless throughout and very comfortable - Preety, the housekeeper, was an absolute delight - she cooked for us one night and we wish we could have stayed longer to taste more Mauritian cuisine! The apartment was excellently located for sunrise viewings from the beach, it is in a gated community with very friendly guards and the building manager, Kathy, came and introduced herself so we could contact her if there was any issues (which there wasn't!). We are already missing the snorkelling right off the beach - I saw an eagle ray on my first swim! We would highly recommend Yulia's apartment - stay longer than 4 nights!

I had a fantastic stay of five nights, and it was absolutely worth it. Ashwin was incredibly helpful and proactive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The flat was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a seamless stay. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience.

Ambroise is a great host.... very responsive and detailed from Day 1. The property was clean and well maintained. The two turtles at his place are fun to watch and Ambroise was kind enough to lend his private Kayaks to us. It was a fun experience exploring the reef on the Kayak. Thanks for having us Ambroise!

Stayed at Geoffray's apartment for a full month It was an amazing stay we felt very much at home as soon as we arrived It's just a 5 minute stroll to a lovely beach and easy access to local buses . there's a local min market just up the road or a short bus ride to a very large supermarket for a bigger shop should you need it Geoffray's Mum & Dad were so lovely very helpful and on hand should you need anything We would highly recommend a stay here it really was the best Thanks again for an amazing stay Pete & Greg

We stayed 3 weeks at Devi's apartment and everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. The apartment is modern, bright, functional, secure and super clean. Devi is a wonderful person, welcoming, considerate, generous who cares about the well-being of their guests as well as being super responsive if there's an issue. We can only highly recommend Devi's apartment. We'll be happy to go back. We recommend renting a car to explore the island. Thanks again Devi for your hospitality!

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Our stay here was very pleasant. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and always eager to help. All common areas were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the apartment itself was very comfortable. We had a slight issue with the hot water on the first day, but the hosts responded promptly, resolving it with a smile, even though it was late. The view of the park is lovely and calming, perfect for morning or evening walks. The apartment complex is gated with a security guard, so we felt very safe. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this place.

The apartment was really clean and very big, with 2 bedrooms, one big livingroom, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a nice terrace. Rizwaan welcomed us, and he was very helpful and friendly, he explained everything we needed to know about the surroundings. The location was AMAZING, just between Trou aux Biches (5 minutes walk) and Mont Choisy. Both beaches are very beautiful. You can park your car inside the courtyard which is helpful. The Wi-Fi is fast, the kitchen big and fully equipped, and everything was perfect! Rizwaan is a really great host!
