Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Charming little bohemian house of 50 m2 on the edge of the garrigue with garden and large terrace facing west and jacuzzi (from May to September). One bedroom with a double bed of 160 and a bed of 140 in the alcove of the living room, a bathroom with bathtub, a separate toilet, and a kitchen open to the dining room. Wood-burning stove heating in winter. The house is located in the pretty little village of Flaux, 7 km from Uzès and 15 minutes from the Gardon River for swimming.

L'Oasis

The Oasis, a rare place for nature lovers in the middle of a 1-hectare olive grove between Uzès and the village of Collias. In this small architect's house in Vers stone with its private terrace, totally autonomous, solar electricity and drilling, you will find calm and tranquility. In the morning the peacocks will come to greet you and wish you a beautiful day. The Gardon and Alzon next door for swimming and a swimming pool shared with us, will refresh you on summer days

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Located in the heart of the historic center of Uzès, Townhouse, Le Portalet is an 18th century three-story house, offering one apartment per floor. Completely renovated, it will delight you with its architecture of old stones and beams. The Grenache suite on the third floor consists of a spacious bedroom with kitchenette, sitting area, relaxation or reading area and a bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet

You will be welcomed in the villa "Mille & un iris" 3-star accommodation, with a master suite with walk-in shower and 5-seater spa, equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi. Large shaded terrace, garden, parking spaces, quiet and relaxing environment on the outskirts of the small village of Flaux. "Relaxation and wellness" stay. Located close to the city of Uzès; its Duchy, its market, its entertainment. Close to Nimes, Avignon, Camargue and the Mediterranean.

Petit Mazet with its private terrace

Nestled in the heart of the countryside 7 km from Uzès, our newly renovated mazet welcomes you in a quiet environment. Our accommodation welcomes you with a small studio space, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom. A comfortable sofa bed (only bed in the studio) offers a bed for 2 people. You have a private covered terrace. Our (unheated) swimming pool and terrace are accessible, we share it with the tenants. This place is not suitable for children.

From each bedroom you can go out onto the 150 m2 terrace with a 28 m2 swimming pool and heated jacuzzi (from 05.01 to 10.01). An aperitif corner, barbecue or lookout entirely for you. Can host up to 7 people. You can park your vehicle in a garage. The land is fenced.

The cottage is located in a small typical Gard village around Uzès. Beautiful stone village, on a hill, built around its church. On the heights of the village, just behind the cottage, you will have a beautiful view of the Cévennes for the sunset from the 11th century chapel. The building is part of a larger complex, an old sheepfold, the sheepfold of Cassagne, named after the last shepherd of the property.

Charming 1950s circus trailer lovingly furnished. 3 m wide by 11 m long, surrounded by a terrace overlooking a lovely garden. A wood-burning stove to stay warm in winter, a bedroom with a double bed, a large shower, a living room equipped with a sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate one extra person. Great for romantic weekends! We speak English, everyone is welcome!
