Monthly Rentals in Flookburgh

We had a great long weekend in this caravan. We received clear and accurate instructions for check in and there was lots of helpful information inside. The caravan is of a high standard, well presented and comfortable furnishings. Lots of storage space, two full size bathrooms ( one ensuite with the double bedroom ) and a lovely decking area at the front and side of the property. The view is out to an open grassed area and just beyond is the sea wall walk which is easily accessible. It is located at the far end of the Haven Lakeland Park away from the hustle and bustle - perfect for us - but a quick 10 minute walk and you are in the centre of the park with all the amenities We had excellent communication from the host throughout and the place was easy to find. Cartmel village and the racecourse was less than 10 minutes by car and the same for Grang-over-Sands. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the accommodation and the host.

This place is really cosy. A lovely log burner warm and tidy. Really nice fittings and fixtures clearly done with thought. Really decent hot water and heating. Beds were very comfy. Kitchen really well equipped. The local shop is basic but cheery and good opening hours. Used it for tea, coffee, milk, bread etc and they do cash back. The local chippy/Chinese take away was excellent. We couldn’t get into the pub to eat at late notice sadly so may need to hook well in advance if that’s your plan. We based ourselves here to do the costal rail route and it was super convenient for the railway. The parking was as advertised. The cottage itself is on the road through flookburgh, so there was a bit of traffic noise at the front bedroom, but really not that much as it’s not a big busy road by any means. There were bowls for the dog to make him feel welcome too.

Very quiet village but had a small convenience store, great Chinese/fish and chips take-away 20 seconds from the door and a pub that serves food 1min walk, Easy to park in the town too. 7 mins drive to Cartmel town which is more picturesque. It’s a 20 min brisk walk or 3 min drive to the skydive centre which was the main reason we were there. Regarding the house- it was much nicer inside than it looked on the outside, well-decorated, warm with easy-to-work heating, comfy beds, plenty of blankets around to snuggle after a cold day skydiving. Kitchen was lovely and modern with loads of implements, pots and pans, condiments in the cupboards. Bathrooms were decent with good quality towels, toiletries and even little cotton pads etc. The leather couches in the lounge were so comfy we all fell asleep on them and only got half way through our movie. It did feel a little on the expensive side so would be difficult to justify on a regular basis when skydiving- but a good place

This was a perfect getaway for our family. When we arrived the caravan felt very cozy and had all the right amenities required for the stay. This was our first caravan experience so we were not sure what to expect but we were very comfortable in the end. The location had all the amenities along with a local shop for any small groceries required for our son. There was a kids play area also. There was also lots of kids game in the caravan which our son loved exploring.
