Andrea was an exceptional host, very helpful and responsive. The place was more beautiful than the photos and the attention to detail inside was very nice. I highly recommend a stay here for a very peaceful, restful, and for the amazing views and experience.

Truly splendid stay! Inflatable jacuzzi was amazing! And you can’t beat fresh clean water, chlorine free! We absolutely loved the place. We would definitely come again. Amazing price, definitely worth what we paid. It works great for a family with up to 4 children. Our king size bed was comfortable completely a dream. Nice kitchen well stocked. Huge glass front gives the house a sunny open feel. Even had a washer and dryer to get laundry done. Even provided laundry soap and extra toilet paper when needed. There’s even a simple grill and charcoal we used to grill supper.

Fantastic view and a really nice property. We didn’t get to see much of the surroundings due to unfortunate weather, but we enjoyed the house a lot. The area is beautiful, even on a rainy day, and the house is very close to the poas volcano, yet far enough away that you are not surrounded by tourists.

We stayed at Juan's recently and were very happy! The unit itself is gorgeous with everything meeting our needs, and the host was very responsive, helpful and made the check-in and check-out process very straightforward with clear instructions. I would definitely recommend this unit and would stay here again!

La Finca Lodge is a true gem, exceeding expectations with an unparalleled experience. From arrival, we felt like cherished family. Magical ATV tours through sugarcane fields to rejuvenating mineral springs, and serene horseback rides exploring the stunning landscape, were incredible. Culinary delights were 'gastro-tacular,' farm-to-table feasts showcasing local abundance. The lodge's authentic focus shone in every detail. Even early mornings were special, witnessing farm life, feeding animals, and tending greenhouses. Leaving was hard, a testament to the profound connection and exceptional hospitality. This isn't just a stay; it's an immersive experience, an invitation to the region’s heart. We left eager to return, immersed in its magic. Without doubt, one of our finest stays, wholeheartedly recommended for an unforgettable retreat. Thank you to Esteban, the family and staff who made us feel at home. We look forward to visiting again, soon. :)

A paradise to get out of the routine

Marvin was an amazing host. Very responsive and gave us a great recommendation for stuff to do with the kids. House gave all of us a lot of space for our large group and the kids loved the pool. Even saw a sloth and monkey on property. Would definitely use again if we come back to the area.

Very nice place the truth, my family and I really loved everything, the pool was enjoyed and we liked that it had an area for children as we always travel with children, the hosts were very friendly and overall everything was excellent

The place is beautiful, the house has everything you need to stay. We arrived and everything was clean, the pool is covered so you don't feel the sun so directly. It is a very quiet neighborhood, it has a bar restaurant and a supermarket nearby. We would definitely go back

The accommodation is absolutely amazing. All activities are very close, the accommodation is super well maintained and beautiful and the host is involved. I recommend it 100% for the very affordable price.

Annie & Alex’s bnb was very nice very spacious, pool was clean and everything that was listed they had . I highly recommend you stay here not only cause it’s a private property but they also have their on site people that help out with the house. Like our pool was never dirty and they even came and help us with the grill .

Everything was perfect! The location is excellent, entrance to the house was simple, the directions were super clear and the privacy of the house is one of its main qualities. Super important to comment that any type of vehicle can be entered. We lasted approximately 9 minutes from the house to the nearest supermarket. Attention and communication with Home Vacations was perfect! Super attentive to your needs. Great for families with children or babies because the house is fully equipped.

Wonderful home….. beautiful grounds. If you are booking transportation I would only accept Adrian as your driver, he is awesome.

Esmeralda's home was amazing for my family to stay in. We were greeted with views of Arenal Volcano 24/7. The location is about 15 min from La Fortuna (4 wheel drive is a must on Costa Rica roads), away from the hustle and bustle and city sounds, and her house is plotted on top of a hill with the best views, which we loved very much. Not only were the views and peacefulness amazing, Esmeralda is the best host I have every had! She is such a sweet lady who lives on the property, so whenever we needed something or had questions, she walked on over to answer questions and help us. She even made us breakfast one morning. Her grandson Daniel, helps out as well and has his own guiding company called Las Pastivas. We took one of his tours and he is amazing and very knowledgable on everything Costa Rican! Check him out as well for tours. If you are looking for a Tican local house experience, this is the house. We will stay here again when we come back to La Fortuna area.

Cires, Eduardo, and the others here were wonderful hosts, knowledgeable and friendly, even amazing cooks! While in La Fortuna we ate every meal at Cires's place, they were all delicious. Eduardo's Frog Tour was definitely a highlight of the stay. The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful. Full of all kinds of pretty flowers and a ton of different birds. Although we only stayed for 2 nights, we felt like family and were sad to leave. I hope to return here again one day ❤️

The cottage was great for our single night stay. It was as described and looked like the pictures. Cozy, simple, and a good a value. Communication was pro-active and helpful. Follow-up responses were very quick and friendly. We also appreciated the hosts thoughtfulness and hospitality, such as having some cold bottles of water available and a snack for each of us. We didn't notice in the listing (our fault) there is no A/C. However, at such a high elevation, the temperature was pretty comfortable (just a little bit humid late evening), so it wasn't an issue. We liked the close proximity to Monteverde (3-5 min) and only 10-20 minutes from most hikes/activities. If you are looking for a cost effective, comfortable accommodations - this is a good value. We would definitely stay again!
