Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. Welcome to our cozy cabin by the sea in Øygarden! Enjoy stunning sea views, private jetty and a large terrace perfect for barbecuing and relaxing. The cabin has electricity and water, simple kitchen and a nice living room with a fireplace. Only 10 minutes by bus to the shopping center Sartor which has a shop and restaurant. About 30 minutes by bus(20 by car) to Bergen downtown. Explore great hiking trails, water sports, and fishing nearby. Ideal for a relaxing or active getaway. Welcome to our cabin!

Nyt rolige dager i dette landlige og familievennlige huset. Totalrenovert 2020 i moderne stil. Stor og solrik terrasse med utesofa og spiseplass + grill. Soveplass til 8 personer + mulighet for to til i sovesofa. 2 helflisede bad med dusjhjørne, servant og vegghengt toalett. Kort vei til sjø, turløyper og butikker/storsenter (Sartor). Kystnært. Egen lekeplass tilhørende sameiet. Parkering med tilhørende elbil-lader foran bolig. Gode kollektivmuligheter. 20min til Bergen sentrum med bil.

The cabin is located in the middle of the nature just 50 meters from the sea. It is a 20 minute hike to get to the cabin, and it is completely undisturbed. Here you can enjoy nature, the sea, the horizon and the silence. The view is exceptional almost everywhere you look. Cozy up inside the cabin, or take your fishing rod and see if you get lucky throwing from the rocks. Enjoy the sunshine or admire the wild stormy ocean. This is a perfect place to relax away from everyday life.

Wow! what a view. A 15 minute drive from the centre of Bergen. peaceful and a lovely apartment. it had everything you needed for self catering. It was great to sit and watch movements on the Fjord right in front of you. The bathroom and toilet was one floor down, but was absolutely no trouble for us. There was some noise from aircraft but again not that it bothered us. If we were to come back to the Bergen area, this would be our first choice. Thank you Eva-Jorunn, Halil and Ayla for letting us stay in your wonderful home. Dean & Gil

This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful week! We spent a lot of time on the boat, which was kindly provided by the hosts for rent. Everything was very pleasant, beautiful house, nature, surroundings, fjords. Definitely recommend!

This is one of the best places I have seen in my life. It’s even better than the pictures, the view… the coziness of the place and the area.. the house is 20 mins away from the centre by car, so not far but far enough to feel the tranquility of the area. Janne is super responsive and sweet, we loved every minute there. It’s perfect for either a family with kids or a group of friends with kids or even a couple that wants to reconnect, I can’t recommend it enough. Janne was so sweet and left us evth we could need, dishwasher tablets, coffee capsules, she even offered us a welcome gift (Norwegian salmon and an amazing juice that we got literally addicted to). I can’t thank Janne enough for having us over, definitely recommend
