When I found this little mobile home community on Miflin Creek, I knew I'd found something special- a peaceful place to kayak,bird watch,fish, and enjoy the beauty of the creek. Today, I'm grateful to share it with my guests. Miflin Creek flows into Wolf Bay and the Gulf, yet you're only 8 minutes from OWA, close to great restaurants, and a short drive to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

A fisherman’s/nature lovers dream and truly unique rental experience at this creekside cottage with water frontage on deepwater Hammock Creek. Close to the beach but out of the congestion. We have a multi level backyard with gazebo with swing, fire pit and huge deck. Fully enjoy the wildlife and outdoor activities.

Studio includes queen-size bed, sitting area and private bathroom. Coffee and hot tea are included, as well as a small frig, coffee maker, and microwave. Guests will also have access to a large screened-in porch (a common area with owners), perfect for drinking your coffee while listening to the birds, or reading a good book.

Nestled under beautiful oak trees it’s an ideal place to relax, unwind & enjoy family, visit Gulf Shores, Orange beach nearby, restaurants, gas stations, dollar store 5-10 minutes walk away. The house is on Bon Secour river and it’s great for swimming and fishing. Lots of different kinds of fish to catch or if enjoy watching birds this is the place to be. Bald Eagles fly through and rest here as they make their way to the Gulf State Park. Great location!
