After 5 nights spent in this beautiful place I had a hard time leaving it... I got depressed and cried so much this place is perfect, that's to say! In fact, if I could buy this property, I would do it without hesitation 💫 Honestly, I'm still shocked by this breathtaking view... whether you're in bed, on the terrace, in the hot bath or in the pool, it's just sublime, incredible, enchanting... I don't have enough adjectives to describe this place, all I know is that I would like to go back as soon as possible ✨️ PS: remember to buy something to make a fire for the barbecue and the brazier (with marshmallows)

It was an amazing experience, better than we expected! We were looking for a quiet place for a weekend and Quinta das Tendas was undoubtedly a great option, the silence of nature is what dominates the space! The conditions are impeccable, everything was as described in the listing. Mr. Luís is very friendly and helpful. An experience to repeat and to recommend, without a doubt ☺️🌿

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

Beautiful modern Villa with all of the amenities we could have wanted. Great bedrooms and modern bathrooms, lovely 10m pool and stunning view. Marta was very helpful if we ever needed anything and had great recommendations.

Antonio's airbnb has everything that's needed and it was clean. Antonio was very eager to help us a lot with recommandations for places to eat, surf and visit the area.

After spending the last four weeks here I am so sad to be leaving Portugal. The house and the area are just beautiful, and I could not recommend this place enough. A car is a must, but it’s a very pleasant and straightforward drive from Porto airport. The village has a river beach, but if you prefer the sea, Caminha is a 50 minute drive and it’s definitely worth the visit - the beaches are beautiful. Forte da Ínsua restaurant is a must! I would also recommend a day trip to Tui, we took a boat ride and looked at the history and it was just wonderful. I’d also recommend the boardwalk hike along the river from Sistelo. The views are just incredible! The house is in a very rural area, so this place is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. A huge thank you to the hosts for being so helpful and accommodating!

We stayed 3 days and we wanted to stay longer! The house is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful, and very comfortable to go with children. The patio area is perfect for playing. Everything was very clean and comfortable. And Cristina is lovely. Thank you so much for everything! We'll be back :)

The experience at Dulce's family home was very positive and pleasant. Both she and her son Roberto were very attentive and kind before and during the stay. They gave us very good suggestions and recommendations. We really liked the house and the outdoor space, both very well kept and clean. The view is beautiful and we highlight the tranquility both day and night. The kitchen was very well equipped, there was even a good albariño in the fridge waiting for us. We recommend this accommodation.

We stayed a week at Lucia's place and we really liked the house, the surroundings and especially Lúcia's attention. If you want to rest in a quiet area in the middle of the mountain, with quick accesses to the highway to visit Porto, Playas de Viana do Castelo , Braga, Guimaraes...etc, this is your ideal accommodation. The accommodation has everything you need for a couple or family with children. Highlight the garden outdoor area, ideal for eating or dining in the heart of nature. House better than in the photos, lots of space, lots of shady places, very homely and homely, large pool with many loungers, beautiful outdoor area with seating, layout of the rooms with bathrooms very nice, kitchen large with all the amenities, many possibilities to do something in every direction, the instruction by the house owner was extensive, a lot of self-explanatory, can recommend the house in good conscience

Mário and Judite were amazing hosts! Really responsive and friendly and provided great recommendations and really easy face to face check in and out! The space was pristine and everything was thought of. Everything in the space was of great quality from the appliances to the linens. The pool area is lovely and gardens well kept, the fire pits and bbq are ready to use straight away too! I would 100% recommend this to anyone. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with everything we could have needed :)

This was the most fantastic Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The idyllic setting is incredible- perched above the quaint town overlooking the gorgeous sea and historic monastery. The hosts met us and showed us through the immaculate home, stocked more completely than any place we’ve ever stayed, and even welcomed us with the gracious gift of a traditional local dish. We hated to leave and loved every minute there.
