"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. The place is located on a beautiful wide road just few minutes walk to local cafe and pubs, the garden is delightful to sit for a tea and interior is very tasteful. House has a huge kitchen with almost any tool you may need, so really recommend if you want to cook on your stay. Anne response to messages very quick and whole check-in & check-out process is very smooth.

I was lucky enough to book Carole's place whilst working in Forbes. Great spot to call base. Clean, spacious, very comfy couch and bed. Plenty of room in the courtyard area to set up my Weber. Carole and her husband were great hosts, very friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in Forbes.
