In the heart of the scenic Ashdown Forest, 33 miles London, 25 south coast, 12 from Gatwick, 15 local places to eat, and yet in a quiet, central location, in enchanting Winnie the Pooh area. National Trust and other interests within walking or cycling, driving distance. Free roadside parking and two minutes walk from a home bakery, health food and shops. A delightfully airy cottage with its own door, log burning fire and other heating, double bedroom and with access to a charming garden.

Total floor area: 133.7 sq.m. Hyrst Rise is located in a quiet residential area and is ideal for families, walkers, and guests seeking a peaceful break. It is not suitable for parties, celebrations, stag or hen groups, or late-night socialising. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am, and noise must be kept to a minimum during this time, both indoors and outdoors. If your group is planning late-night drinks, music, a lively stay or evening gatherings, Hyrst Rise is unlikely to be the right fit.

Deerkeepers - Boutique rural cottage

Located in a rural area away from main roads and adjacent woodland but also within a few miles of Forest Row and East Grinstead. For those wanting a more active break there are countryside walks straight from the door, use of a shared fitness room and tennis court. Alternatively, the area has several National Trust houses, beautiful gardens and the Ashdown Forest to explore. A car is essential! The cottage is well equipped and furnished to a good standard, as seen in the photos.

The Sheep House

A stylish, spacious and comfortable barn conversion on the edge of The Ashdown Forest in beautiful East Sussex. Walk directly from the accommodation up onto the Forest via Pooh Bridge or head into the village for excellent pub meals. This area truly is picturesque English countryside at its best but is surprisingly close to London - an hour by train to/from either of the local stations or about 35 minutes drive from Gatwick. The South Downs and south coast are also within easy reach.

Piglet's is a recently renovated self contained room in a quiet location on the Ashdown Forest in the middle of Winnie the Pooh country. Perfect for a peaceful break. The forest offers fabulous walking, bird watching & lots of local attractions. You have your own front door with direct access on to our pretty garden. Piglet's is a cosy space with low beamed ceilings so if you are over 6ft 2 you may need to stoop! Piglet's has central heating & plenty of hot water.

NEWLY REFURBISHED. The annexe is a self contained bright studio of roughly 25 square meters with its private and secure entrance, close to the main house, so we are not far away for help and advice. We are situated in a very beautiful spot of Sussex, 10 minutes to Ashdown Forest and only 20 minutes from Gatwick. We are 3 miles away from the center of the charming market town of East Grinstead. Unfortunately there is no public transport close to us.

Perfectly presented picture postcard cottage, on the edge of the Ashdown Forest, the inspiration for the Winnie-The-Pooh books and 3 minutes drive to the historic village of Hartfield for the village store, Pooh Corner tea rooms, pubs and farm shop. This is a great location to explore the Kent & Sussex countryside. The spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is a 20 minute drive and only 45 minutes to the South Coast. We are family friendly.

Lovely light 1st floor studio flat. Totally self contained with off road parking. Very comfortable king size bed, large living space, kitchen (with fridge & cooker, kettle, toaster), shower/loo and TV. About 500m from both Pooh Bridge as well as an excellent pub. Tea, coffee etc plus welcome pack of cereals, bread, milk and butter will be awaiting your arrival. Use of garden area. Friendly host with equally friendly spaniel.
