Memorable stay!!! We loved the house (which was very clean), the pool was perfect and very well maintained, the view... The environment was very beautiful and calm. We will keep a very good memory of our vacation and meeting the parents of Romeu who live next door to the house. We felt like we were welcomed by our family, they are a lovely couple, very kind, warm and concerned about the well-being of their tenants. On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

The guesthouse is in a beautiful setting in the vineyard. Maria was very welcoming and made us feel part of her family. We enjoyed quiet sunset walks, peacefulness, and seeing an old family winery in the Dau region.

We had an excellent time and had the exact experience we wanted. We truly appreciated the solitude of the property. Freya and Steven are great hosts, keen to engage and ensure we are happy. Their suggestions for local hikes and restaurants were spot on!

A true refuge of peace! Casa da Figueira is an exceptional place, located in a stunning natural setting, perfect for relaxing and recharging. The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay on this farm! The house is extremely comfortable, well-equipped and surrounded by nature. The jacuzzi was a real highlight — perfect for relaxing by the end of the day. The presence of plants and birds brought a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for resting and disconnecting from the rush of everyday life. Angelina's reception was simply impeccable! She welcomed us with so much attention and affection that she made all the difference in the experience. At the time, prepared a delicious breakfast with homemade jellies, cheese, croissants and orange juice — every detail thought out very carefully. The accommodation exceeded all of our expectations and we would definitely return. I highly recommend it!

The most fantastic stay, we will definitely be back! The location and accommodation was even better than the photos and the host and staff were so friendly and approachable. The views from the entire place were fantastic. A very private and peaceful stay, and the breakfast baskets were very generous, full of fresh fruit, bread etc. We did a wine tasting on the vineyard and it was so reasonably priced and great wine. There was also a lovely peacock and cat that roamed the vineyard and came to say hello on occasion. Both pools were fantastic! Thank you for a really memorable holiday 🥰.

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.
