Super nice big house with Greek flair, but still very modern. We were very hospitably received with delicious freshly baked cake and fruit. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We felt very comfortable. There is not much to see on foot, but with a rental car it is a good starting point for excursions in central Crete and in the south of the island. The village square was sometimes quite noisy, but that didn't bother us. The hosts were always available and very nice and gave us good recommendations for the area.

Nicola is friendly and very communicative host he come in person to give us welcome 🤗 he treat us like a family. The house is beautiful peaceful you have a little pool perfect to enjoy it with kids and relax for a bit you can also grill there’s a supermarket from the little town near by also gas station a couple meters from the house. Beach are about 30 to 45 minutes away I like the time I share in this place and very friendly people. We want to come back again in the future.

Nothing matches the serenity and views of Irini’s cozy stay! To wake up and walk out to the upstairs private patio… to hang laundry on the porch amongst the songbirds, overlooking the seas and with a view to the west where Kofinas looms over Kapetaniana was magical. Locals were indoors mostly this time of year except low traffic on the streets on Sunday and the grocery truck came once below our home. Never had a parking issue - there was a walk of a block to take bags to stay and up a short flight of stairs but no issue for us. My husband is tall so the bathroom shower and doorway was a little low for him - but it is so neat as it is beautifully built into the cliff side! Traditional stone home with all the things we needed to cook and sit by the fire each night. Mini split heat/AC upstairs and down, she left us two bags of wood as well. We extended our stay and hope to come back again! Thank you for sharing your home with us and being a helpful, responsive host for all we needed!

Fantastic old traditional house, well preserved and carefully modernized. Kind hosts eager to assist and give recommendations of nice nearby places to visit. Amazing view of the valley.

Words cannot describe enough the wonderful time we had staying here. We stayed in 2 other places in our visit to Crete as this was by far the best and our favourite! The village is beautiful and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant has amazing food which is cooked by Georgious (who is a great chef!) and the local cafe also has amazing food (you have to try Lefki’s Galaktoboureko it’s divine!) The atmosphere of the whole village is perfect. The surroundings are serene and beautiful and watching the sunset behind the mountains is a magical experience. Maria is one of the kindest, gentlest and warmest people you could ever meet and she really made our holiday one we will never forget. She recommended many places to visit and things to do which were amazing and we would not have found them without her! We cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us and the great evenings we had chatting under the stars by the mountain. We will be back very soon to visit!

The wooden house is a little paradise in the mountains. It looks even better than in the pictures ! We had an amazing stay there, we can't wait to come back here ! We had the chance to have some amazing olive oil from Stelios family that was sooo good ! Stelios is an amazing host that is super available, kind and funny. I really recommand this place, do not hesitate go there for some peace and quiet, no tourism and nice things to do around !

A beautiful apartment from beautiful people who shared delicious gift on our arrival, the apartment itself gives a constant view of the sea and contains everything you need to feel at home, the beach in this quiet town is just steps away, as well as the pubs that are open in the warmer months. Great quiet town to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Great value for money, would definitely return.

Great experience overall. Lovely little house, tiny tiny village in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful little details around the house, attentive host, funny friendly neighbors. We felt very welcome and lucky to be there and experience. Tavern nearby was very tasty, as if your grandma cooked for you. The only negative comments - shower is in the toilet, so all floor will be wet afterwards. Additionally, you live in a tiny village where neighbors will wake you up in the morning by talking to each other)) . But overall we loved it. Big thanks and recommend!
