Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. The Elkhart A-Frame is an ideal location for the adventure seeker who wants a unique and private experience that is still close to all the action. The home sits on a wooded three-acre private retreat only about a mile from the village of Elkhart Lake, Road America, and Golf Courses. This unique cabin was built in the 1970's but has been recently renovated with a fun Scandinavian modern flair. It has all the amenities for a memorable vacation stay that provides plenty of epic photo opportunities.

It has many amenities including the Little Birch A-Frame playhouse for the kids and an outdoor firepit. The River Birch is just a 20 minute drive to Alpine Valley for snow skiing and summer concerts! It’s an ideal getaway for couples, families, or friends seeking relaxation and nature and dog friendly!
