Holiday houses in Foxi Murdegu

Our stay at Casa Foxi Leoni was great. We had 9 days there, which felt like a long time for us to stay in one spot, but it was a great base. Despite being close to the road, the location is quiet, and we felt comfortable letting our two-year old roam around. Getting around does require a vehicle, even to the nearest beach, but there are a host of great places to see, eat, and perfect little beaches that are easy to get to, yet away from the masses. The house is well appointed, clean and convenient. The big covered outdoor living space and kitchenette were a big plus for us, and where we went the majority of our time. We had all we needed, and Laura was a great host; always on hand to help or offer advice. We’d come again, and highly recommend it.

The new house was fantastic and very well maintained. The location is perfect, the sea is within walking distance, and the outdoor shower afterwards was a real highlight. The beach is beautiful and almost deserted, ideal for anyone looking to escape mass tourism. We had a great time and would love to come back!

The photos cannot convey how nice this place is. The environment is amazing. The place is also perfectly equipped, and the owner cared for the small details. The decoration of the place is awesome. This gives this apartment a really charming feature. I believe this was one of my best experiences on Airbnb. Highly recommended.

We spent a very nice 1.5 weeks in the quietly located vacation home of Vittorio. The house is very cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The two terraces are very practical depending on the weather and sun and are very suitable for eating together (or yoga in the morning). If you still want to leave the house, you can reach the beach in 2 minutes on foot. For further excursions you need a car. Vittorio is an exceptionally attentive host who gives recommendations for excursions and responds very quickly. We will be happy to come back because we felt very comfortable.

Fabio is a really friendly and very responsive host, although we unfortunately could not meet him in person. You get entrusted with this fully equipped private house as if you were from your family. Perfect in sun and wind as well as in the evening with starry skies: the almost fully covered terrace with great views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Swimming and snorkeling right between the rocks under the garden with no problem access to the water. Top sand beach Foxi-Manna a walk far and with nice bars. Visited very little in the first days of October. Fabio's extensive tips (beaches, restaurants, etc.) were very valuable. You have everything you need for a truly private holiday. We have made some excursions. For this, you have to drive from the scenic cauldron of the marina towards Tertenia. There connection to the north-south connection. Thanks to Fabio!

We stayed 4 nights at Stefano’s place, but wish we had booked for 8 or 10‼️. The position of the bungalows is amazing with a 15 to 20 metre walk down a sandy path onto a very private part of an amazing beach with beautiful clear water and clean white sand. There are 2 little supermarkets 5 minutes and 10 minutes walk (mainly along the beach) or you could drive to them in 2 or 3 minutes. Both are well stocked, as is the kitchen, which though small has every appliance you could wish for to cook with. There is an outside verandah (separate for both bungalows) which we ate on every night, enjoying the view over the beach whilst the sun went down. There is a generous communal area in front of the bungalows with deck chairs, sun lounges and umbrellas, which can also be taken down to the beach Additionally, there are paddle boards and a kayak you can also use The house was immaculately clean and Stefano was great with communication and with recommendations re restaurants and things to do. It's a large house with about 4 flats, each (from what I saw) with their separate private gardens and terrace, giving a big feeling of privacy. We had a great time there with family and a toddler (it was nice that the garden is closed and there's no danger for a kid except the stairs). The greatest highlight was the upper terrace, which has a view on the sea, some wind making it comfortable even when it's 34 -- we ended up spending most of our time home (and most meals) there. As a note, the mansarde up with the two beds gets extremely hot and is only usable with a fan and putting air conditioning fairly low (e.g. 27). The host was exceptionally kind, helpful and responsive. That contributed a lot to a very nice stay!
