Cabin holiday rentals in Frankfort

Awesome house for a long weekend with a big group! It is about a 25-30 minute drive into Traverse City but we appreciated the peacefulness of the smaller lake and beautiful views. Gets pretty buggy at night but that is to be expected on the water in the summer. Some of the most comfortable beds our group had slept in at an Airbnb! Only thing to note that the pictures don’t really show is that the trundle bed is in a loft so will be able to hear from the living room. Pontoon boat was an awesome value add. We’d definitely stay here again.

Fantastic host & properties. Well equipped with a lot of amenities. Spacious, luxurious, comfortable condo, with lots of privacy. Very responsive and clear hosts. Looked exactly like the photos. Would definitely come again

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot. Have stayed at the cozy cabin many times!!! One of our favorite places to stay! It is so peaceful. Love the wood burning stove on cold nights. Looking forward to our next stay with our pup. Hosts are wonderful!

Isla Fern is a hidden gem! We had the best time making memories in this thoughtfully designed space. There were many great amenities that you wouldn’t find in most rentals. We appreciated how dog friendly, and kid friendly the rental was. Check in and communication was seamless. I would highly suggest Isla Fern for your getaway!

Ashel’s place was exactly as described. She was a wonderful host- so friendly, helpful and hospitable! The beauty that surrounds her cabin is truly a peaceful respite from everyday stress. Very quiet and relaxing!

Loved this great find near Traverse City! The property was beautiful with a cute little beach. There were beach chairs on the sand and above on an astroturf seating area. There were also a couple docks to walk out farther onto the water. Our dogs enjoyed the slight waves and exploring the wooded area on leash. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was about 20 minutes to Traverse City, so it was easy to get to lots to do as well as the beautiful beaches in the area. We loved sitting at the public beach with our dogs. Such a relaxing place to stay and a great town to enjoy with family and pets.

Super cute and cozy cabin that was perfect for our group of 6 while we were in town for the Bayshore Marathon. We enjoyed our stay!

A peaceful and relaxing cabin setting right on the water. A nice outdoor area with porches, chairs, fireplace and dock. The place was cozy and well appointed with modern amenities and supplies. We enjoyed the location as a base to relax and do day trips around the area.

The highlight was undoubtedly the private lake right in the backyard. It was incredibly well-maintained and offered a serene and picturesque setting for a truly quiet getaway. Absolutely wonderful! Our family enjoyed time spent at the cabin fishing - it was not a great time of year for fish but our son had fun catching crawdads and spotting a lot of wildlife! The mosquitos were pretty thick in the evenings (which we expected being near the river) so we didn’t end up using the fire pit but we spent a lot of time playing air hockey/fooseball in the basement which was a lot of fun! The location was an easy 30 min drive to the beach, sand dunes, and Traverse City for day-trips. There were enough restaurants close by (15 mins or less) for us to try something new each day of our stay. The cabin had everything we needed, and the hosts had clearly put a lot of effort into making sure their guests have a great stay. We would definitely return!

The cabin was exactly what we expected from the photos and description. Everything was clean, updated, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for homemade meals. Our kids really enjoyed the loft. We would definitely stay there again!

Great cabin located driving distance from sleeping bear dunes and other great places. We had a wonderful time here!

Loved the house. Plenty of space. Clean. Soft bed, hot water. Loved the river behind the house, the dogs loved watching the fish as well. It wasn’t as private as I thought, there is a neighbor right next door, and one down the street, and one currently being built across the street but down a little. But the neighbor is nice and keeps to himself. Personally I thought it was going to be a little more private, but that would be my biggest complaint. I would definitely stay again. It was close to everywhere we needed to go, but far enough out of the big towns that it felt private. Definitely recommend the hot turkey sandwich at the Cherry Hut. Good food at Dilbert’s cafe and platte river as well. Hiking is great at sleeping bear dunes, and if you have time, check out Traverse City nature center, they have a hiking system and it’s got some great trails. Some great shopping in downtown traverse city as well and Glen arbor. House is easy to find and would def stay again if in the area!!

Great location for access to Tippy Dam and Manistee National golf course. Very comfortable and clean. Especially loved the DVD collection and record player!

I highly recommend. The house was just liked described. Very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you need. We loved the peaceful surroundings. Will definitely book again.
