Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Franklin County

We were in the area for a FORD car show in Carlisle and the location was great. Very peaceful. Be sure to check out the King's Bakery there nearby.

Great space for 2 families with kids. We didn’t realize how lovely was the garden until we got there. The stream of water was a real perk! The double bunk bed for the kids was a great set-up but squeaky and unstable, not suitable for adults. Overall a great stay!

My wife and I booked this airbnb to take some time to get away, and it was well worth the trip. Close to Gettysburg, and plenty to do at the property itself. We would gladly stay at this beautiful home again!

We stopped here on the way to the beach and felt right at home. The home was clean and spacious, and our host was prompt to answer questions. Our family highly recommends this location to other travelers coming through, or to, the area!

Home was as described, very clean, and appears recently refreshed. The latter exceeded expectations. Very convenient location if you're in the area for Academy events. Check in was easy and the host was responsive to communication. No complaints.

Staying at the guest house at Long Acres Alpaca Farm was such a peaceful and unique experience! The setting is serene, surrounded by rolling hills and, of course, the charming alpacas that made the whole stay extra special. The guest house itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed-comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen with some fruit and snacks, and lovely touches that made it feel like home. We also appreciated the opportunity to see and interact with the alpacas. Sarah was warm, welcoming, and happy to share about the farm and the animals, which added a personal and memorable touch to our stay. Highly recommend this stay if you’re looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with a little something extra.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and pristinely kept Airbnb. We were in the area for our son's graduation, and the house was perfect for our family to call home for the weekend. Stephanie was very communicative leading up to our stay and made sure we had the information we needed to easily access the home. Upon arrival, the home was immaculately kept! Every room was clean--from corner to corner--and beautifully decorated and welcoming. There were accommodating details at every turn--smores kits, corn hole, travel accessories--Stephanie thought of everything to make our stay feel special! Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will certainly be back to enjoy this home.

This was the third time my husband, our four children, and I stayed here. The house is always welcoming, clean, and ready for us. Kimberly and her co-host are responsive and helpful. Great coffee and food options nearby. Convenient location to many sites, especially those of historical significance. We would stay again.

we loved this place. very nice apartment, the location is great, close to hiking, close to Gettysburg, quite and peaceful, just great. Michael was awesome. Very friendly, and was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

The loft was comfortable and inviting and just as described in the listing. It was clean…immaculate to be more precise😊 and Brett and Jen were quick to respond and communication was a breeze. The location is perfect with restaurants and shopping just steps outside the front door. We look forward to staying at the loft again on our next trip to Chambersburg.

This place was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated! The hosts left a nice handwritten note welcoming us and giving local food recommendations. They were also very flexible and accommodating! We felt very comfortable there and would 100% stay again!

This is a beautiful place right in downtown chambersburg. Top class designer furnishings and interior decor, comfortable bed and linens, downtown walkable location and tons of parking!

A quaint place, clean. A historic building in a historic town. I enjoyed walking to the “Texas Lunch” for breakfast? Then throughout the “square” in downtown. The creek was adjacent where you can watch and feed the ducks with the supplied frozen peas! I enjoyed my visit to my birthplace.

Always a pleasure to stay here or in any of their places! They never disappoint and for valentines they even added rose petals which I thought less a great touch! Highly recommend staying at any location.

While this studio space was small, it had a ton of character. Everything was very clean, exactly as pictured, pleasingly decorated, and had a ton of natural light (with excellent curtains and shades to facilitate sleeping-in). The location was great, a few minutes from shops and a short drive to big name stores. Everything was well-stocked and they even provided essentials in case you forgot to pack your own. The floors can be a bit creaky, making it hard to be stealthy if you're partner is sleeping, but that's a very minor inconvenience for a stay in such a beautiful loft that's rich with history. We had an absolutely wonderful time and appreciate the hosts' thoughtfulness with their amenities. We would, without a doubt, stay at this place again if we found ourselves in the area.

I almost don't want to write a positive review because I'd like this condo to be available only to me. It was perfect! The place is comfortable and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Easy ski in/out access, and perfect for a family that has some that stay on the slopes a little longer than others. We just hope this place will be available again when we visit next.

Worked great for our short term work assignment

Very nice spot right off the mountain. Pretty short walk from the top of the green hills. Great if you have your equipment already! Living space was big enough to relax after the slopes. Comfortable bed and big tv.

I think this is the best slope side ski condo at Whitetail. The slopes are right outside the door and the place is cute, clean, and comfortable. We will be going back!

Very pleasant room and convenient for getting to the slopes. Good communication with hosts and easy check-in/out!

This studio apartment-room was a great stay! It was the closest building to the top of the Double lift, 8-10 minutes from line to the apt door. Everything was as described for me, sans a guitar and a table or two. The wifi was fine for work, not great for gaming on my pc, though. Overall, my pet and I enjoyed every second of our 2+ weeks, on and off the slopes (just me), and look forward to staying again. Thanks!

This air bnb was perfect for a weekend getaway to Whitetail resort. The unit is steps away from the slopes, and Renee was not only responsive and extremely helpful, but able to accommodate schedule changes to make our trip happen.
