Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Frederick

The Madison is a wonderful place to stay. Furnishings and bedding are all top notch. The location is just a few blocks from the Frederick business district. One thing to note if you are visiting in the summer is that the house does run warm- - thermostat is set to 73 and guests are instructed not to turn it any lower. I live in an old house so I understand. This does leave the upstairs rather warm so if you don't like to sleep in 74-75ish degrees, The Madison might not be the best choice for you. However, I found the bathrooms to be squeaky clean, the bedding to be just as good as what I have in my own home, and the restaurants/shopping in town to be lots of fun. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in 1 of Marissa's properties again.

This is a cute old house. Three of us were visiting from out of town and even though the house is a little dark, it is charming, clean and well maintained. Steve was very easy to communicate with and we enjoyed our stay.

Super cute place right in the heart of Frederick! Kelley was very communicative and responsive. The house was perfect for our needs. The mattress was super comfortable! The hot tub was clean and everything we needed it to be. Would absolutely stay again!

Our experience at the Wizards Escape was amazing! Nate, our host, was the best. He checked in to make sure that we were getting the best experience out of the house. The atmosphere is unreal! We really felt we were at Hogwarts Castle. The bedrooms are so full of detail. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could imagine. The Great Hall is magical! The escape rooms.. fantastic. We only stayed 2 days but tried to get in all the activities that were available. We played quidditch golf, did escape rooms, had a scavenger hunt, made great meals in the Weasley's kitchen. We had dinner in the Great Hall under the levitating candles while listening to the Harry Potter music in the background. This house is a home to be experienced. We are definitely coming back!

The house was very clean and the back yard was very pretty. We loved seeing the bunnies that live under the shed and the garden.

The cottage was well maintained. We loved sitting on the front porch listening to the birds while reading our books. It was a relaxing weekend away.

This is not a typical Airbnb rental with standard decor and slogans on the wall. It was interesting to find ourselves in different environment. Each of us found something they liked or didn’t like out of the multiple pictures and decor items around the house. It was fun. We didn’t have enough time to look through table games offered. The house was clean, good linen and multiple towels. The kitchen was well equipped though we didn’t do much cooking. It was a beautiful view from the deck and a lot of things to do around. Greg lives nearby and was available when we needed assistance

Jenn & Drew’s spot is perfect when visiting Frederick. The apartment is meticulous and the beds are super comfortable. Off street parking was a true plus. Waking up to a view of Baker Park is such a treat. Can’t wait to return. Many thanks for a great visit.

We had to travel for a wedding and it was just the perfect place with all the basic amenities covered. The place itself is located in a quaint peaceful little town in MD very close to VA. If you have some extra time, definitely walk around the peaceful town, its lovely!! We loved our space, delicious coffee the comfortable bed. Definitely a spot to checkout if you are in that area. Thank you Nancy for everything. We recommend 101%!!

My husband and I love staying here and come once to twice a year. Butch and Lynn are very responsive and the nest is cozy and clean. We always look forward to our stay!

Highly recommend Ann’s place! We traveled with our toddler, and it was perfect for him. They supplied a pack and play and tons of board books. My only thing to note is that the walkway to the space is not paved so be aware with small children and suitcases.

Just what we wanted. Right in town where we could walk everywhere we wanted to. Mornings were checking up on our horse out away from town, and late afternoon and evening were for wandering around and checking up on everything and then deciding on one of the great places to have dinner. Ava was great for communicating with as needed. Responses were always very quick. Check in and check out we’re really easy! Nice clean place!

What a wonderful retreat! I can't think of a better place to stay where you're surrounded by books, art and the countryside.

Kim’s place was great! Our stay was brief but the place was exactly as described and nice and clean. We had a minor issue during check in and Kim and Dave were very quick to respond and assist. We would definitely recommend.

Ted N Cindy's place is the perfect getaway if you are looking for a quiet holiday. Our stay was perfect. The place was very clean with a variety of shopping places a short drive away. My highlight was the sound of the river/ stream and the green.

Our stay at Occaquan was peaceful, relaxing, and very much needed. Arriving to the parking lot was a breeze, only because if John's specific instructions to find it, that was very much appreciated after a long drive. Walking into the place, first impression, looks just like the picture. The very next thought, "how cute is this". From the beautiful window behind the couch with a lovely tree to watch birds in to the cozy feeling of being in a familiar place. This place is quiet, surrounded with beautiful historic scenery, and has many local shops and vendors to spend an afternoon exploring. We walked down to the park by the water way and learned some history while soaking up the sun and the breeze of nature. I absolutely recommend John's place for a stay. I know I will be returning for a simple, relaxing get away, once again! Thank you John for everything!

Exactly as advertised. Quiet and convenient.

Large place, great jumping off point and close to town for my partner, my dog and myself. Very clean, and set up great to watch TV at night or work from home. And a fully operational kitchen so you don't have to eat out every night. Thank you again!

Great location, close to transportation and dining options. Place is very quaint. Uncomplicated entry and exit. Neighborhood walkable and friendly. I would consider staying again.

Thomas’ place was stunning. The view was amazing, and the entire space felt cozy, charming, extremely clean, and peaceful. The location was perfect—beautiful and walkable, close to Tysons malls, great restaurants, and the Tysons Metro station. A perfect spot for anyone visiting the DC area. Thomas was very attentive and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Overall, this is a top-notch place and probably my favorite choice when visiting the DC area.
