Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Frederick

This house was OUTSTANDING. Walkable to downtown Frederick, quiet, beautiful, unique and so very comfortable and well-appointed. We were so grateful to have stayed here and highly recommend this house and host.

The Madison is a wonderful place to stay. Furnishings and bedding are all top notch. The location is just a few blocks from the Frederick business district. One thing to note if you are visiting in the summer is that the house does run warm- - thermostat is set to 73 and guests are instructed not to turn it any lower. I live in an old house so I understand. This does leave the upstairs rather warm so if you don't like to sleep in 74-75ish degrees, The Madison might not be the best choice for you. However, I found the bathrooms to be squeaky clean, the bedding to be just as good as what I have in my own home, and the restaurants/shopping in town to be lots of fun. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in 1 of Marissa's properties again.

Our experience at the Wizards Escape was amazing! Nate, our host, was the best. He checked in to make sure that we were getting the best experience out of the house. The atmosphere is unreal! We really felt we were at Hogwarts Castle. The bedrooms are so full of detail. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could imagine. The Great Hall is magical! The escape rooms.. fantastic. We only stayed 2 days but tried to get in all the activities that were available. We played quidditch golf, did escape rooms, had a scavenger hunt, made great meals in the Weasley's kitchen. We had dinner in the Great Hall under the levitating candles while listening to the Harry Potter music in the background. This house is a home to be experienced. We are definitely coming back!

The space was clean, comfortable, and cozy! It was the perfect place to retire after spending the day exploring nearby Frederick, or traveling to Baltimore or Annapolis. It felt like coming home.

The house was very clean and the back yard was very pretty. We loved seeing the bunnies that live under the shed and the garden.

From the first to the last, Judy was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We appreciated the high chair, kids books, the outlet covers and the outlet covers she provided for my 14 month granddaughter. The house was spotless and we felt very comfortable there.

This is not a typical Airbnb rental with standard decor and slogans on the wall. It was interesting to find ourselves in different environment. Each of us found something they liked or didn’t like out of the multiple pictures and decor items around the house. It was fun. We didn’t have enough time to look through table games offered. The house was clean, good linen and multiple towels. The kitchen was well equipped though we didn’t do much cooking. It was a beautiful view from the deck and a lot of things to do around. Greg lives nearby and was available when we needed assistance

Jenn & Drew’s spot is perfect when visiting Frederick. The apartment is meticulous and the beds are super comfortable. Off street parking was a true plus. Waking up to a view of Baker Park is such a treat. Can’t wait to return. Many thanks for a great visit.

We had to travel for a wedding and it was just the perfect place with all the basic amenities covered. The place itself is located in a quaint peaceful little town in MD very close to VA. If you have some extra time, definitely walk around the peaceful town, its lovely!! We loved our space, delicious coffee the comfortable bed. Definitely a spot to checkout if you are in that area. Thank you Nancy for everything. We recommend 101%!!

My husband and I love staying here and come once to twice a year. Butch and Lynn are very responsive and the nest is cozy and clean. We always look forward to our stay!

Highly recommend Ann’s place! We traveled with our toddler, and it was perfect for him. They supplied a pack and play and tons of board books. My only thing to note is that the walkway to the space is not paved so be aware with small children and suitcases.

Just what we wanted. Right in town where we could walk everywhere we wanted to. Mornings were checking up on our horse out away from town, and late afternoon and evening were for wandering around and checking up on everything and then deciding on one of the great places to have dinner. Ava was great for communicating with as needed. Responses were always very quick. Check in and check out we’re really easy! Nice clean place!

Very clean and clutter free! It was the perfect size for two and had all the necessities we needed during our stay. Joshua was very easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay again. The close proximity to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park cannot be beat!

Kim was on outstanding host, she got me extra sheets and blankets for my guest to sleep on the couch. She provided a peaceful retreat location close to downtown/old town Winchester.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Thank you Sean, Megan and Loren for all your helpfulness and a lovely stay!

Great location, close to transportation and dining options. Place is very quaint. Uncomplicated entry and exit. Neighborhood walkable and friendly. I would consider staying again.

Thomas’ place was stunning. The view was amazing, and the entire space felt cozy, charming, extremely clean, and peaceful. The location was perfect—beautiful and walkable, close to Tysons malls, great restaurants, and the Tysons Metro station. A perfect spot for anyone visiting the DC area. Thomas was very attentive and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Overall, this is a top-notch place and probably my favorite choice when visiting the DC area.
