Beachfront holiday rental in Freights Bay

My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

My husband and I fell in love about 8 years ago with Barbados and this was our 8th visit to Barbados. We booked this villa about 3 days prior to our arrival, and were impressed with the quick communication and very easy self check in. The villa is beautiful, nice and white and bright. The beds were very comfortable and it was spotless. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels! It was lovely sitting on the deck watching the surfers, we felt safe and happy in the Freights Bay Area with a quick walk to Miami Beach, the location of this villa was convenient and within walking distance to the fish market and Masseys grocery store! A lovely villa in deed and another wonderful vacation in Barbados.

Great place overall! The unit itself is roomy, recent and clean. The location couldn’t be better; on The Gap, but not right in the bars section so it was quiet at night but you just had to walk 5 minutes to get to the action. Great host and his co-hosts were great as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and will be looking to come back with our daughters!

We loved our stay at Whispy Waves. We were only the 2nd guests to stay here, so everything was new and the decor was to a high standard. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Plus there were plenty of towels and extra linens. The covered patio was great for the evenings and watching the sunsets. It is in great location close to all amenities. Although just off a main road it still felt very private. The addition of private beach access, beach chairs supplied and a laundry room was a huge bonus. We've stayed at many places along this main Road, but this was definitely our favourite. Thanks Chloe and hope to be back soon.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

We had an incredible experience at the Sapphire Beach Condo in Barbados! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket with a bottle of rum punch and local snacks. We were also greeted by a beautiful ocean view. The condo had everything we could possibly need. It was stocked better than most homes! There were so many thoughtful touches, like a fully stocked laundry room, good quality hair dryer, Bluetooth speaker and Alexa. We rented a car from across the street which was very convenience but if you need a taxis we recommend Anderson who is across from the property. We used him to go to the airport. My son realized he left his expensive camera in the car rental. We called Anderson and he retrieved the camera for us. That kind of kindness and reliability is rare. We were beyond grateful. All in all, this was a great vacation rental. The attention to detail, hospitality, and thoughtful extras made our trip unforgetable. We highly recommend Sapphire Beach Condo.

This listing was great. Perfectly located near to restaurants and groceries. An ideal central location in my opinion and we felt safe as the compound is gated. Our luggage was lost but the list had a wash/dryer with detergent so we could keep our clothes clean until our luggage was returned to us. An overall great stay and I would recommend.

From our first enquiry to check-out, our experience with Preetam and this property was exceptional. We were traveling from Ireland with our 3-year-old and 5-month-old and were a bit nervous, but everything we needed—travel cot, highchair, baby bath, even kids' plates—was ready for us. Though there were no reviews when we booked, we were quickly reassured—the apartment was even better than the photos. Thoughtfully decorated and fully stocked, it’s clear a lot of care went into every detail. We’ve traveled a lot, and this was by far our best accommodation experience. Having the sea right outside was a real treat, and the beach was quiet and peaceful. One note: we’d have been lost without a car, as most restaurants and amenities are around 30 minutes away, there is not a lot in the immediate location. Definitely ask Preetam for restaurant/ disk recommendations! You are in for a treat! It really was the most beautiful place to stay, thank you.

Book This Place Quickly!!! This property was EXCELLENT! It was not just as described. It was better than described. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It was very quiet in the community; so quiet that you could hear the waves hitting the beach (Welches Beach) at all times of the day and night. Super safe location that was only steps away from Massey’s Supermarket and Oistins Fish Market. The apartment was very clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. The outdoor property was daily maintained and manicured. Very adequate amenities to make the place feel like home in paradise. Jameela and the other co-hosts kept in close contact just to make sure that things were to our satisfaction. And that’s how you become a SUPER HOST!!! Kudos to the Team! We hope to come back to the Island, and when we do, we hope Lighthouse Bay Apartment #102 is available!!!

Stunning apartment, with ocean views from every room. Amazing layout for 2 couples, with basically 2 suites. Unbeatable st Lawrence gap location and lovely host. Plus a little pool, just as cool as you didn't know you needed! Many thanks for have us. It was wonderful, a dream vacation.

Cam's place was exactly as described. Cam was also easy to communicate with. He was able to connect me with a local grocery delivery service, which was extremely helpful as i was traveling with twins!! Would recommend his place to anyone traveling to Barbados as it is only a short drive to downtown Oistins with plenty of local restaurants.

Our stay at Allure was truly exceptional. The property is brand new, beautifully maintained, and absolutely immaculate. We were warmly welcomed with thoughtful food and drinks, which was a lovely touch. The hosts have considered every detail—you’ll find the apartment and kitchen incredibly well-equipped with every gadget and amenity you could possibly need. The beach is just steps away, and the upstairs terrace and pool area are stunning, spotless, and perfect for relaxing. We’re already looking forward to booking again next year!

One of the best holidays I’ve ever taken - Ocean Blues is simply one of a kind, we lucked out and had the entire villa to ourselves - which was an added bonus for travelling in the shoulder season. The amenities are just as described, but don’t really do it justice - a private little area to swim into the ocean, with a lovely pool oasis on the deck overlooking the vista. It’s truly spectacular! The room is very comfortable and with even better view. It has everything one needs - plush bed, solid shower with pressure and hot water, clean and tidy. The housekeeper Lana was truly an angel and took such great care of us - her hospitality and warmth truly made the experience special and very memorable. Lastly the nearby La Cabane is a must try and swimming over to Batts Rock to soak in the afternoon rays was our highlight. Thank you Justin, we look forward to our next visit! This place is simply magnificent! We stayed there for a week and loved the location! We even had the chance to sympathize with the neighbors' dog :) This place was our haven of peace throughout our stay. Parking is close by and there is always plenty of space. I will definitely return to Little Green Tara during a future visit to Barbados!

We stayed at Rachel’s beautiful waterfront property in Barbados for nearly three weeks, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The view was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the ocean every morning was a dream come true. Rachel was an outstanding host with incredibly fast and thoughtful communication throughout our stay. She made everything seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing, scenic escape with a host who genuinely cares!

This place was a lovely place for my family and I and is close to the islands main attractions by car! From checking in to checking out it was a smooth process altogether.. The host was always responsive and Kiana was very nice and helpful with any questions we’ve had!

My sister and I had a great stay here and we had everything we needed to feel at home. Home was easy to find, peaceful, and was a short drive to the airport, supermarket, beach, etc. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Lory was very responsive. We appreciated that the building was well lit, had cameras around the building, a covered carport, and outdoor seating. Just so others are aware, the ac is motion sensored and one of the beds is very firm. We had no issues with the ac as it worked well/quickly, but it did turn off after a certain amount of time if no motion was detected (just something we didn't expect). Regardless, I would highly recommend anyone visiting the island to stay here!

Philip and Tina were incredible hosts with a beautiful home. The place accommodated everything we needed. The beach right in front was for Camelot House guests only, and chairs and umbrellas were set up daily. We were able to walk the boardwalk every night and enjoy dining and drinking right along the boardwalk. We look forward to booking with them again.

Perfectly situated on Miami Beach, which is beautiful, has shade under trees and was never too busy. A short walk to Oistins centre, but peaceful at night. Cleaners came every two days, which was wonderful and unexpected! The house had a big garden, with several tortoises, which the kids loved! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious.. The air conditioning in each bedroom worked well. There was no air conditioning in the living room or kitchen, but a fan in the living room, and opening all the windows and doors, blew the wonderful sea breeze through the house. The kitchen was basic but functional, except the dishwasher, which leaked, but was still usable. There was an indoor and an outdoor shower, which was great. The beds were large and comfortable. Bedding was changed by cleaners every two days. We thought Bellehaven was really good value and perfectly situated. It is definitely somewhere we’d rent again. Thank you!

I recently visited Patricia and Alan’s place on a solo trip. I randomly picked their home just by viewing options on Air BnB.. The location, amenities, privacy etc. was very appealing to me. I will say that the photos on the app don’t do this place justice. Additionally, it is spotless, and has many amenities that one may wish while traveling. Lastly, Patricia and Alan couldn’t have been nicer. They were so accommodating, and always made themselves available if needed for anything. I highly recommend their home, as you won’t be disappointed.
