Five stars all around. This was my wife and I's second time staying at Mai's place (the first time being one year ago on our honeymoon!). We love SF, and Mai's place is the perfect respite from the city while remaining relatively close to most areas of interest. Mai is so kind and accommodating, and her place surely does feel like home! We look forward to staying here again and again in the future.

Everything about my guests’ stay was great. No complaints, only gratitude for a nice, clean, safe guest house where they could walk to groceries, coffee, restaurants in the neighborhood. Cozy, quiet atmosphere in a great location! The studio cottage is just the right size for one person, and probably no more than two. The little yard area is beautifully manicured and provides a tranquil setting when you walk in and out of the studio cottage. I instantly felt right at home. Alzira was kind enough to demonstrate how to lock the side gate behind me - and this after I knocked on her front door for help! (I'm not tech-savvy AT ALL, as I had to explain.) Alzira is not only friendly in person, but her text message communication was also extremely prompt and polite. I would stay here again and again.

It was a great stay. They have a beautiful property and garden. Berkley is a great walking city. It was fun to explore. This was my 2nd time to Berkeley, and my wife and kid's first. She loved the city. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The garden is full of flowers and eucalyptus trees, and the spa is peaceful and private. The space is bright, very clean, and has all the amenities you could need. The bed was super comfortable and the comforter nice and warm. We especially loved the owner’s artwork displayed throughout the cottage—it adds such a personal touch. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. Tilden Park is just 10 minutes away and perfect for nature walks. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely come back!

Julie and I had a wonderful time at Margaret and Phils. It was near a neighborhood I grew up. The accommodations were great, private cottage and beautiful gardens. They have a dog, Sadie, who was a delight. We hope to go back in the future.

When we entered Mary Lee’s backyard where the unit is located, we were instantly pleased with how beautiful and well landscaped it is. The studio is well built, with attention to detail and the use of quality materials. The décor was also pleasant and well thought out. In addition, we were satisfied with the fact that they provide 100% cotton towels and linen for the bed. The kitchen was well stocked with stainless steel cookware and everything we needed. Mary Lee and her husband David were friendly and responsive to all our requests. We would be happy to stay at their place again.

Yao was a perfect host. She was always responsive to my inquires and was very accommodating when I asked for an earlier check in. Yao Airbnb was very clean, in a quite neighborhood and just a short drive to Kaiser Santa Clara where I had an early morning appointment.

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

Eugenia’s place and Eugenia and her husband are fantastic… One of the most comfortable organic cotton beds I’ve ever slept on, the most enchanting, beautiful property, and every appliance state of the art, efficient and intentional with the touch of love. Eugenia brought me teas, and various unconventional items I asked for. And the natural light and airflow were wonderful. And very healing and the most peaceful and healing neighborhood I’ve stayed at in the East Bay. For anyone looking for a healing retreat, Book this place as soon as possible

The Casita in the Trees was the perfect getaway and Melodie and family were amazing hosts. The space has a very nice layout, the kitchen and other rooms are lovely with charming ambiance and thoughtfully stocked, you have everything you need and more. The soft morning birdsong was so pretty amongst the oak trees, the view is spectacular, and Melodie was such a thoughtful and kind host. I would absolutely recommend!

Katie's place was very comfortable and quiet in a great location with easy access to SCU. It worked perfect for us to enjoy our son's graduation. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

Our stay here was very good. Able to get around the kitchen, find the grocery store and spend time with our family. During our time there we were able to see some of the local animals and it was really fun for the kids.

Stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding. Devora was very helpful and friendly and made sure my stay was comfortable and seamless. The neighborhood is absolutely gorgeous and I found lots of things to do in the area. The space had everything I needed, couldn’t have asked for better hosts! 100% would come return.

This is the ONLY home I will stay in when visiting my sister in Menlo Park. Beautiful setting, quiet, tastefully designed, responsive hosts 10/10!

Silvia is the most wonderful host! Thoughtful and attentive. She has a welcome snack and champagne waiting for you when you arrive. She’s truly thought of everything! The Studio is also great! Private and peaceful. Very well stocked. She’s got everything you’ll need! We loved the private outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine. We stayed for a longer amount of time and she made sure we had fresh linens for the bed and fresh towels. We would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying with Kate. I really appreciate that she reached out to ask about special dietary needs. The neighborhood was wonderful and very quiet! Loads of interesting things to do nearby. It was our first time to the San Francisco area and we enjoyed our stay! Your place was very convenient to all our activities. The information about Redwood forests was helpful and we ended up At Purisima Creek Redwood preserve after spending some time at Half Moon Bay! Both fabulous places and close to our location! I had a great stay at Jim and Te’s place. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and I could feel their warm hospitality through the well-prepared space. Jim was very responsible throughout the booking and stay. I appreciated the care and would love to stay again!

There aren’t enough words to describe how perfect this place was. We spent the weekend celebrating a birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. To start our host Sheryl was very accommodating and proactive of our flexible requests. The shower was out of this world. It was as if the clouds parted and heaven shot down the perfect water pressure to bless us. Everything we could have possibly wanted was there labeled and in a box. The bed was so comfortable and each night it was time to sleep we passed out instantly. The chickens and pool was a beautiful touch that only added to the ambiance of beauty. I got a chance to meet Sheryl randomly and she was super nice and very pet friendly. When we arrived Sheryl acknowledged the celebration by providing a bottle of red wine and premium milk chocolate for us to enjoy. We were truly able to fully let go and relax here
