"Our Little House"

This is a great little house for coming to visit friends and family in the area or if you're just passing through. We do not have central air, but we do have a portable air conditioner unit in the bedroom which makes it cool and comfortable. A lot of people that stay call "Our Little House" a cottage. I think it could also be called "The Little Cottage on the Highway". We are located on a highway, but our little house sits back far enough that the highway has never been a problem, noisewise.

The Mainstay is a newly remodeled standalone studio guest house. It features a fully functional kitchen, a large shower with bench, a bidet, a 55" HD TV, an electric fireplace feature, and an outdoor patio and fire pit. Enjoy this unique stay with lush and natural surroundings while retaining modern-day conveniences.

This charming house is 10 minutes from Lake Erie , beaches, groceries, shopping, restaurants and ferry boats. Cedar Point, Kalahari, Sandusky Mall, or movie theatre is a 30 minute drive to Sandusky. Enjoy busy days and then relax on our 2 acre private sanctuary over looking the pond. There is an outdoor patio w/furniture and grill. Bring your boat or use a local fishing charter service. Birdwatchers love our close proximity to Magee Marsh. Also, Camp Perry is less than 10 minutes away.

There are plenty of places nearby to explore, or just sit and relax while looking out the back window to see if any deer are visiting the backyard. Within walking distance is Hedges-Boyer Park where you’ll find walking trails and a creek. Only a 5 minute drive to both Tiffin and Heidelberg Universities. Downtown Tiffin is at the end of the street where you will find many local shops and eateries.
