Holiday rentals with lake access in French Flanders

Isolated house, not too much traffic, but no 4G, you have to connect to the box, a little slow, and no store available nearby. Arrival indicated by autonomous key box but finally we had to wait for the host to come, no speaker offered and LED ball that does not work, average bathroom, mixed with the maintenance room and presence of a bra in a drawer with a box containing some hair, otherwise we had a good pleasant air-conditioned stay

We had an incredible stay here! Gwendoline was so kind, helpful, and generous. She left food out for our kids to feed the animals each morning and left us special treats throughout the stay. The space was clean, bright, and peaceful. We had everything we needed and it was a perfect spot for biking, walking, and exploring various parts of Belgium. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. We felt like we could relax and unwind and that we were well cared for the whole time. We highly, highly recommend!

It was as if we were arriving at a small oasis in the middle of our agitated world. The house was even more beautiful than described and we were struck by the cleanliness of the place. In principle, it is not even necessary to leave the estate, as everything is planned to keep you entertained. The neighborhood and Ardre around the lake were also very idyllic to visit (everything is within walking distance). Véronique is a fantastic host, involved in your vacation weeks ahead. She had decorated the house with birthday garlands for our 60s, and prepared a fresh quiche as well as cookies. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone.

We really enjoyed our first trip as a couple. The cottage is located in a cozy place near other holiday homes. There was plenty of privacy and tranquility, as well as a nice place by the water. Communication was smooth and clear. We were given a lot of tips, which was pleasant for us. Nice region for hiking, cycling and boating.

Clear instructions on arrival and parking in garage (although it is very narrow to drive in). Everything is kept clean and the beds are nicely made. Garden with some chairs available. Within walking distance of the beach, dike and shops. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We stayed 4 days at Isabelle's place, to do the Dunkirk Carnival with friends (5 people). In this context, the listing was quite suitable and as described. The small terrace is lovely. Dunkirk seemed a little far away (the bus takes almost 40 min) but the stop is around the corner, it's very convenient! By car it's fast: 15min and Bergues (to visit!) is 15min too. Isabelle was a great host, very responsive, friendly and accommodating. And then we had the pleasure of meeting our hosts several times but only in carnivaleux suits which did not spoil anything for our pleasure! Thanks again!

This is a great place. The position is beautiful, the canal is so good. The house is great and I would definitely recommend. Lots of facilities and beautifully kept and has secure parking.

We stayed at the Manor for 4 days: 8 adults, 4 teenagers and 3 grandchildren. Everyone found their place very quickly because the place is incredibly welcoming! The outdoor spaces are full of small corners or activity: jacuzzi, pétanque, BBQ, large tables, garden shed, fire pit and so on are a real plus! The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, tastefully furnished! Bedding and sheets smell good , we sleep very, very well! The different lounges are super beautiful, the billiards and darts occupy the larger ones pleasantly. And finally: the kitchen: optically, a return in time but technically: impeccable. Dishes in abundance, all the equipment is present and the large stoves are super convenient for cooking for large families! Really, nothing missing! And François... a host cream, discreet but ultra responsive when necessary! A 10/10 for us!

Great 1st floor apartment on the beach, managed by a concierge company. Great views. Spacious apartment. Need to take towels, tea towel, loo roll etc if staying longer than a few days. Great place. Will stay again definitely.

The stay went great! Very responsive and welcoming host! The place was as described and really clean. The location of the apartment is really great! 2 steps from the Calais d**e with many restaurants nearby. The bedding was super comfortable and the whole apartment was great. Very good place for a little time close to the sea!

This flat was super clean and there was nothing to complain about! We were exactly 2 Minutes away from the beach ! Absolutely worth the amount that we paid ! 100% Recommended to everyone!!! Special thanks also to Anne-Helene for being so kind!

We stayed in this studio with 2 adults for 1 week. Very nice accommodation in a quiet area, away from the crowde seaside and yet close to everything within walking distance. Nice room with a view & terrace by the pond, which immediately gives a holiday feeling! Everything was available in the studio. Our e-bikes could be places in a separate bicycle shed downstairs in the garage. Very friendly and helpfull host Steven, who was always available for any questions and someone who definitely cares about his customers! This studio is an absolute recommendation where we will definitely like to go back !

We had a very good stay at the Opaline. Originally from Malo, the Opaline allows us to spend pleasant moments with the family with an incredible view of Malo les Bains. A return to the roots! Thank you very much!

A refreshing and exotic haven in the middle of the audomarois marsh that we can only appreciate! The gite is beautiful. Olivier is exciting and welcomed us with great kindness... We'll be back without hesitation!

My 2 sons and I enjoyed an extended weekend in Sabrina's cottage. What a fantastic place! The house is in perfect order, everything is present. Toys, cart, bicycles, perfectly equipped kitchen and everything available as if you were at home. A nice touch on arrival, the beds made and towels provided. Sabrina is a very sweet hostess. We noticed that the bicycle tires were flat and before daybreak she brought a bicycle pump so that we could go out carefree. We received tips about the domain and could count on a very fast response. The arrival was very easy, no hassle with keys but a clear and simple description and code. The well-kept garden is a real plus, where others in the area sometimes have a bit of faded glory. Absolutely recommended! ☺️ We will definitely come back. Thanks for everything, Sabrina!

The accommodation was clean, as advertised and in a very quiet location. Very friendly welcome and Julie was available and responsive to any concerns. We go back when the opportunity arises.

Absolutely loved our stay here, so peaceful and everyone is respectful of the area. The host left our kids little snacks for when we arrived which was a lovely touch for them 👌🏼😊 Would recommend to everybody!
