Waterfront holiday rentals in French Flanders

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful views from each of the terraces. We saw some stunning sunsets. Great fun watching all the activity on the beach. Bart and Mieke were excellent hosts, providing really useful information on everything from where to eat to where to park. Very responsive to every question we had and even helped with late checkout. The apartment is small but is really well designed and beautifully decorated and has everything you need. We wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous Airbnb.

I was there with my wife and 12-year-old daughter during the Pentecost holidays. Apartment with 2 balconies as described in the pictures in the advertisement. Kitchen fully equipped and everything you need is in it. The direct beach location is outstanding. The parking space for the car, which can be reached via a garage/underground car park with 2 radio-controlled sectional doors, is also practical. We had 3 bikes and a bike carrier with us. We were able to park them dry and safely in the garage. This garage on the ground floor has 2 doors to the elevator, which leads to the apartment on the 2nd floor. The keys and the hand transmitter for the gates are obtained via clear instructions by message in key boxes secured with number codes. Good Wi-Fi and TV. My above-mentioned "female companions" were very satisfied with my choice. As is well known, this is not always easy to achieve😉. This apartment with sea and dune view is highly recommended. Everything was good. Nice apartment, close to the shopping street and the beach. Nice restaurants are close by. Beautiful view. And very nicely decorated. Great!

We arrived at the accommodation on Friday - after a traffic jam around Antwerp. I had overlooked that Tine had sent another photo of the entrance, but Bruno welcomed us and guided us to the right driveway. We were received in a very friendly manner. Everything important was explained. Communication was also great in the run-up. The accommodation fully corresponds to the description and the attached photos. The apartment is beautifully and cozily furnished. Everything you need is available. The beds are really comfortable...that's not always the case. The kitchen is well equipped, so you can really take good care of yourself. The location in the dunes is also great. Less than 2 minutes' walk to the beach. All in all, we had wonderful, relaxing and sunny 5 days. We made excursions to Nieuwpoort, Veurne and Ostend, had a picnic in the dunes and simply had a great time as a couple or as a foursome. We all liked it. Gladly again!

The stay was great all around. Frederik was very warm and greeted us at the beginning together with his wife. He gave helpful tips for activities in the area. There was also nothing missing in the equipment: grill, a variety of seating options and all kitchen accessories and much more. The location was also great: You were quickly in Bruges, Ostend and De Haan and yet the location was quiet and rural. We enjoyed it very much and we will be happy to come back.

We had a very nice time over a long weekend with several generations. Super nice house with a great garden. We had rain and sunshine and both are equally beautiful! If you like it cozy, just throw the fireplace on. The immediate area is great for beautiful walks. A mini supermarket is 7 minutes' walk away, where you can find really delicious chocolate croissants🤗. The house lacks nothing and it is super cozy and perfectly divided. We'll be back!

The stay at Marianne's went very well. The accommodation was perfect, well-equipped, very clean, quiet as we like it. The outside is much appreciated. Also well located in relation to the shops. Marianne is attentive and responds quickly to any request. The garage is a plus for us to store our bikes!

We were warmly welcomed by Stephane's mom. Stephane came to greet us a little later. In the house is everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and the view is fantastic. Stephane is a great and very nice host. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely come back.

We had a pleasant stay. Facing the sea, very pleasant for morning walks. The accommodation is welcoming, very well located and nothing is missing. In addition, public transport is free and makes it very easy to visit Dunkirk and its surroundings. Martine advised and guided us from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend everyone to enjoy this pied-à-terre.

We had a very nice stay and we were very happy about the accommodation and communication. The city De Panne itself is not the prettiest city. But the location of the house is still nice, peaceful and close to the beach.

I had a weekend in Jocye's studio with my best friend. The contactless check-in was super easy. The messages from Jocye were simple, understandable and very friendly. We received an answer to our questions within a very short time. The studio itself is very sweet. Really well suited for two people. Everything you need is there. You can also sleep very well on the sofa bed. It is very quiet and the view of the sea is absolutely amazing! We rented bicycles on the beach promenade and explored the surroundings. We spent a week in Fabienne's apartment. From the first written communication before departure, to the personal acquaintance and their tips about Calais, nothing was missing. We were happy to be your guests, we felt very comfortable. Especially the view from the balcony to the beach and the sea was phenomenal at any time of day or night (sunsets included)! There is also a lot to discover all around. Conclusion: Calais is definitely worth another trip. Thank you for everything Fabienne!

Stayed 5 days at Christophe’s very clean home which has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Great location overlooking the marina, quiet, with plenty of free parking out front and only a short walk into town or to the wide expanse of Calais beach. Great communication from Christophe and he was also able to be flexible with my arrival and departure times due to a gap in bookings. Overall I’d definitely be happy to stay here again

We had a great time in Ruth's apartment and would have liked to stay longer. The view of the sea, the pier and the dunes is fantastic! The tram stop is right behind the house, which is very convenient. The underground parking space is located next to the elevator, which takes you directly to the 6th floor. The apartment is very clean and beautifully furnished and has comfortable beds. Ruth was always available and had good tips for us. We would love to come back and recommend the apartment without reservations!
