Quick note: While Acadia is accessible via the ferry, we do not recommend Swan’s Island as a “home base” for doing multiple days at the park as the last ferry runs at ~5pm. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.
