Melanie’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet and secluded weekend alone. The place is rustic, but very cute and well maintained with awesome outdoor sitting areas and a very comfortable sleeping situation. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more, and we were very close to Cave Run Lake. Highly recommend!

My wife and I along with our fur baby just spent four nights at this wonderful cabin tucked away down a quiet winding road. The cabin had all the amenities you would expect and more. It was clean and everything was labeled and easy to find. The decor was charming with a rustic with a modern feel. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck porch hearing the babbling creek and seeing the humming birds. The host was friendly and easy to contact. We really hated to leave and hope to come back again.

Beautiful cabin, and a great getaway. Everything was very clean and inviting. I appreciated all the possibilities for climate control and lighting. It could be as bright or as cozy as one needed, and since we were there during a relatively cool and rainy time for part of our trip, and warmth for the other part, we used both the air conditioning and the fireplace ( the fireplace for a very short time). The cabin was always comfortable, and I can be kind of a diva about temperature! The ceiling fans were amazing. Do mark down the WiFi information before you arrive, because I foolishly didn't. There is no cell reception at the cabin, so I couldn't use any devices at all the first night. But the host was very responsive when I was able to get a message to them via satellite, and after that it was smooth sailing. I also appreciate that they had plenty of towels and washcloths available. Highly recommend this cabin and these hosts!

Very scenic spot with a responsive host. It was a great area, somehow close to everything but you had your little piece of privacy. Within walking distance of a walking bridge to a park for small ones to burn some steam off from lengthy travel and close to the stores if you had any last minute things you needed. Very family friendly. I highly recommend.
