An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. The house is massive with lots of space to ‘live in’. The bedrooms are large and comfortable with well appointed bathrooms.

It was all spectacular; the location, the house, the garden... It was a weekend of friends and we all liked it. Also, I have brought 3 b*****s who enjoyed it with the very good care and fenced ground. Surely we repeat experience.

Incredible place in pristine nature. Mertxe was a wonderful and warm host.

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

We had a wonderful week at Maria’s place! The house was perfect – clean, thoughtfully furnished, and ideal for us and our two toddlers. Everything we needed was there, and we felt at home from the very beginning. The location was great, and communication with Maria was always friendly and easy. Thanks to this lovely accommodation, our family vacation turned into a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

Inaki was very helpful right from the beginning of our stay and could not have been easier to deal with. He looked up local taxi forms and bus routes to where we needed to go, gave food recommendations for around the local area. Replied very quickly and had an amazing home, it was even better than the photos. Inaki even left us a few basics like eggs and bread etc and some really nice lemon cake too! I couldn’t recommend him and his place enough Thankyou so much for all the help

We had a great time at Maria's place. The house is practically new, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. You can tell that it is thought out in detail to make you feel at home: from the kitchenware to the small details that the hostess has had, all very careful. We especially want to thank Maria for her close and friendly treatment, always making sure that we were comfortable and with a great flexibility that made our stay even easier, something that we value very much. The house is very comfortable, bright, quiet and is located in an ideal area to get to know the area. We definitely recommend the stay and we won't hesitate to return if the opportunity arises. Ana's house is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. We spent three nights to visit Cantabria, and it was very good for us to travel from one place to another. Ana always answered messages very quickly and tried to solve all the problems we had. There was a problem with the washing machine and she immediately offered to wash our clothes and return them to us dry.

This is the second time we've come and we don't rule out coming back more often. Thank you Estíbaliz

Very nice house, sunny, clean, cozy and everything in good condition and good taste. Located in a quiet village, with 3 bars and with option to make routes. Exceptional location next to Santo Domingo and Ezcaray. Very nice and attentive hosts, aware of everything at all times. Recommended accommodation and for us to repeat without a doubt.😊

It was a good experience. Noelia is very nice and answered all the questions. Even sending photos of what was in the kitchen so we didn't have to bring too much, etc. He also let us leave later so we took advantage of the last day. The house is incredible, it has everything you could possibly need and more. The incredible garden overlooking the mountain and the super nice surroundings. You have trails nearby, but you can also take the car and in 10 minutes you have trails with waterfalls, etc. The supermarket is a bit far away, but with a car you can easily get there and you can also visit the villages with super good restaurants, etc. The rooms are very good, everything is very clean and comfortable with views in each one. And the living room with the fireplace is really an incredible area to be at night with plenty of room. It really is an incredible house, we had a great time. Thank you Noelia for such a good experience. We'll be back!

I've been traveling for many years and it's my first time without words with an accommodation. 100% recommended to spend an unforgettable few days. The attention, the details , the same, and the care with which we felt treated and valued has no words. With very accurate details it made our stay amazing. We'll be back!

Very well-equipped house, with everything you need. Roberto was very kind, helped us with everything we needed and made everything easy for us.

Leigham was an excellent host. Very responsive to any and all questions and was able to provide numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. “Number 8” is located in a small, walled, hilltop village with some buildings dating back to the 1100s. It is on a very quiet “street” steps away from the main square, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The apartment is on four floors allowing everybody to have their own space as needed. Three bedrooms with two washrooms … makes life easy, as we were a family of four. You drop your luggage 20 meters from your front door with free parking about 200 mètres away. Located in the heart of the Rioja a wine region, you are never far from some of the best wine in the world . In fact, you can walk to the nearest Bodega right in the village!!! If visiting the Rioja region, I recommend Leigham’s Number 8 as your home base.

The accommodation is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable and Daniel is very welcoming and full of small touches to welcome guests.

We spent the weekend at Andreea's house and it couldn't have been better!! We were a group of 12 friends celebrating 30 and the place is spectacular. Both the house, which is as it appears in the pictures, even more beautiful! Like the area in which it is located, it is a marvel. In the middle of nature, with many beautiful routes to do and water activities on the lake as well. Although when we went, the season wasn't open yet, but there is that possibility. And Andreea couldn't have been nicer! He was always available and gave us a lot of recommendations. He welcomed us and showed us the whole house and was available and attentive at all times. We fell in love with this place! I hope to return soon!!

A fantastic place to disconnect in a privileged setting. Ricardo and his wife greeted us with kindness and every detail. The house has all kinds of comforts and everything was very clean. Definitely a place to repeat!!
