Robin’s Stable- Paddock Cottages

LukeRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Absolutely gorgeous little cottage in a great location to explore the Peak District! We met the hosts mother upon check in and had a lovely chat which made us feel right at home. We loved the farmland nearby and the sounds of the animals outside as well as the lovely garden area where you can relax in the sun. Oh and the views are to die for! The WiFi was perfect and the TV was great to watch movies on during those rainy days, there was also lots of leaflets to help plan your trips around the Peak District. Worth noting, albeit this is in the process of being resolved from our understanding, if you are a light sleeper it may be worth baring in mind you can hear upstairs guests. It wasn’t an issue for us at all, but worth mentioning, however this didn’t affect our stay at all! Overall, we had a fantastic week here and would come back in a heartbeat, thank you so much Naomi for a wonderful stay!

Cheedale Lodge

NathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I visited chee dale lodge with my partner and our young Labrador, and we had a lovely week long stay. The lodge is comfortable and well-equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, and fridge freezer. There were plenty of pots and pans, and salt and pepper to cook with, but no oil (I'd recommend bringing your own). For the dog, there was a good sized grass area, with a bin, a short distance from our doorstep. There is lots of nature to enjoy in the local area. In particular, we enjoyed visiting Luds church, three shires head, and the monsal trail. This was a great base, with most places we wanted to visit being 20 mins away or less. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage in the Peak District. The location is fantastic—nestled in a beautiful village with stunning surroundings. The cottage itself was spotless, tidy, and perfect for a large family. The kitchen was very well-equipped, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

The Gate House, Wetton. Great base for exploring.

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just got back from a few days at The Gatehouse (or Fred's Shed). It was a wonderful place made so much more so by John and Pam. I arrived and was greeted by John who showed me round, imparted a huge amount of really helpful local knowledge and assured me that help was just a door knock away if needed. Pam had left a mountain of goodies to ensure I didn't go hungry, catering for my four legged friend as well. We were out walking the hills every day and this was a lovely bolthole to return to. being a stone cottage it remains cool even when temperatures outside rocket. John recommended a variety of local walks, pubs, and tea rooms. We tried the one in the village and had a wonderful meal. Sure The Gatehouse is not a mansion, but the use of space is mind-blowing, so there really is everything we needed. The setting is so peaceful and rural, walks straight from the doorstep, it's worth giving the car a break. John was so helpful, friendly and easy going. Would I return... absolutely!

Cosy, Shepherd Hut in the Peak District on a farm.

KevinRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had such an amazing stay this week! The shepherds hut was really clean and had all the essentials. It was a really peaceful stay. We initially had a little bit of trouble finding the place however Cheryl was quick to respond and helped us find the place easily. It was also close to shops and food spots and Bakewell by car. Would definitely recommend! <3

The Coach House - Explore the Peak District

We had a lovely time here. The cottage was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Great location with lots of things to do within a short drive. Judith was very helpful, especially when I stupidly left something behind. She went out of her way to make sure I got it back. We would stay again.

Anvil Cottage, lovely cottage in the Peak District

JoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at this brilliant cottage. It had everything you could need, so it was easy to feel at home. I especially liked the comfy king size bed, the well equipped kitchen and lots of storage options for clothing and toiletries. Winster is also a great location for exploring the Peak District immediately around you or further afield.
