We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland! Located right on the Ems-Jade Canal in an old farmhouse in the heart of East Frisia, it was completed in the summer of 2025 with a great deal of attention to detail. A magical spot for nature lovers to hike, bike, fish, perhaps paint, or simply BE… listen to the birdsong in the early morning or gaze at the starry sky on a clear night.

In beautiful Friesland, close to the North Sea, lies the idyllic Branterei farm complex. Surrounded by a park-like garden with old trees, a cottage garden and a meadow, the 15000 m² farm complex is an ideal place to unwind and relax. Nature lovers. Lovingly integrated into the old farm complex, the newly renovated double room is in a maritime style overlooking the forest.

The bookable

The Buchbar is bookable and is an original Mongolian yurt that stands in a 2000-square-meter natural garden. It immediately takes the guest to another distant world and lets him sleep, as in a palace from 1001 and a night. In the book bar there are approx. 200 picture books for the little guests and a substantial book box for adults to browse, view and read and to borrow.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. It is suitable for 1-2 people. A double bed 160 x 200 cm is available for relaxing nights under a thatched roof. A child/teenager would of course also be welcome. An extra bed can be provided on request. Playing a game of boules is possible on our property. Breakfast is available on request for an extra charge.

This unique place has a style all its own. On 85 square meters, the cozy living room with open kitchen, a small office and the pretty guest toilet are located on the first floor. The staircase leads to the gallery, where there is a comfortable sofa bed and a TV. The bedroom has a spacious box-spring bed and the directly adjacent bathroom.

The cottage is located on the edge of a wooded private weekend settlement. It is generously sized, bright, modernly furnished and very well equipped. It is heavenly there in every season & perfect for a short or longer break in the idyll! For the summer months, there is an in-house stand-up paddle board (SUP).
