Villa holiday rentals in Frigiliana

The villa is as it looks in the photos - beautiful and very well appointed. It is clean and has everything you would need in terms of cooking utensils, etc. Simon and Laura were very helpful and proactive, and the instructions were detailed and clear (although the PDF is different to the Air BnB manual, which I think was a little out of date in terms of restaurants etc). Dandini is a little treasure. He's always around and ready to greet you as you get home. He is friendly in his own way. A couple of small drawbacks - firstly, although the villa is nicely private, it is a good 15-20 mins walk to the top of Competa (meaning most restaurants and shops are more like 30 mins away). It is a tricky-ish walk during the day because of the very steep drive, the cars are quite fast, and there is very little shade. At night it is more comfortable but the cars still feel a bit dodgy. Secondly, the pool is not heated but I found it fine once I'd braved getting in! Thank you for the great stay.

Vi hade en fantastisk vecka tillsammans med familjen i Gittes hus. Huset ligger i en underbar och rofylld omgivning med vacker utsikt över både berg och hav. Trädgården är välskött och frodig, med många fruktträd och gott om plats för både avkoppling och aktiviteter. Vi uppskattade verkligen möjligheten att spela boule, bordtennis eller bara sitta på en bänk och njuta av utsikten. Huset var mycket bekvämt och fullt utrustat med allt vi behövde. Köket hade alla redskap och maskiner man kan önska sig för att laga mat tillsammans. Vardagsrummet bjöd in till gemenskap med ett urval av familjespel för både barn och vuxna. Den fina poolen användes flitigt varje dag, och kvällarna avslutades ofta med grillning på terrassen – en stor och trivsam plats där hela familjen kunde samlas för middagar och samtal i solnedgången. Vi kan varmt rekommendera Gittes hus till andra familjer som söker en avkopplande och trivsam semester i vackra omgivningar.

The host was very helpful and friendly, very responsive. A very private villa with amazing views and the surrounding area of nature makes this place the perfect location to relax and have a real break from the city, highly recommended to those who are just looking to unwind and have some time off from everything & everyone. The place is clean and cosy. The main room is bigger than the picture. I was so happy I stayed

This is a true hidden gem, easily the house with the best view I’ve ever been. The hosts are friendly and responsive. They were also very flexible concerning the checkin and checkout time. Would surely recommend this place!

My family and I had a great stay at the villa in Nerja. We were a family of four with two young children and a good quality travel cot with additional cot mattress was provided. The villa was in great condition, as seen in the photos. Everything had been thought through and most things that you could need were available including beach towels, pool inflatables, plenty of kitchenware, good TV set up, high chair and games. The pool is very clean and good temperature, we used it most days. The villa has lovely sea views and there is space for off street parking ( easy short drive into Nerja). Jonas and Oscar were very welcoming hosts, that gave great local recommendations. We would recommend for a family holiday!

Wir waren das 2. Mal in dieser traumhaften Unterkunft und wieder zu 100% zufrieden. Garrett und Susan haben mit der Ausstattung vor Ort nochmal einen drauf gelegt, sodass es einem an nichts fehlte. Die Zwei sind ganz tolle Gastgeber und gehen auf jedes Anliegen umgehend ein. Wir haben leider etwas vor Ort vergessen, auch hier bemühen sie sich direkt, dass alles zu uns zurück kommt. Das Haus hat den schönsten Ausblick, von dem man nur träumen kann und man hat in der Unterkunft einfach seine Ruhe. Der Weg dorthin ist etwas abenteuerlich, hier sollte man etwas erfahrener sein und das passende Auto mieten. Für uns war das aber kein Problem, wir haben es dafür umso mehr genossen unsere Ruhe zu haben. Wir werden auch ein drittes Mal wieder kommen, es war alles rundum perfekt!

Holger was a fantastic host who met us on arrival and departure. During the stay we had many questions about southern Spain attractions and visitor points and Holger was very helpful. He even advised us on our Tangiers trip in Morocco. A car is important for this accommodation as the supermarkets and travel spots warrant one. Saying that the Uber service and taxi service was very easy to navigate. Overall high spec property with amazing views and great host so would highly recommend.

We've stayed here twice in the last year, it's a wonderful villa and location. the view is stunning. Host is amazing and always on hand for assistance if needed.

Great location, villa is a really good size for large groups and has a really nice outdoor area. The apartment is very secure and private. Host was very helpful and responsive.

The house in Sayalonga is absolutely a beautiful place to stay! The place looks exactly like the picture, if not better. The house is big, has everything that you need as a group and a great location with a view in the mountains, perfect to relax with family or a group of friends and enjoy the Spanish sun. Communication with the hosts is very easy, they respond very quick and are there to help or give tips. Absolutely recommend!

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Appartment, man hat sich schnell wohl gefühlt und hatte reichlich Platz. Einziges Manko: Die Sauberkeit entsprach nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen/Standards, da man hier und da noch einige Abdrücke sah, zum Beispiel in der Küche.

Absolutely incredible stay! The villa was even more beautiful than the photos—spacious, spotless, and perfectly located. Waking up to panoramic sea views every morning was a dream. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and the host was welcoming and responsive. Alvaro was amazing, very friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home. A peaceful retreat just minutes from Málaga’s charm. Highly recommend!

A truly stunning find! George & friend Javier were wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with truly amazing warmth and hospitality. The villa is immaculate and a unique experience. Fitted out with a very high level of modern luxury: salt water pool, outdoor dining, balcony , sunbathing areas, cutting edge kitchen - all tastefully designed & hand-picked furniture creating many wonderful spaces to relax and entertain. We comfortably slept 6 people with room for two more. The location is only a ten minute walk to main Torremolinos which now has many fantastic beaches, restaurants & nightlife to explore. I cannot recommend this property highly enough - our best experience on Airbnb. All the best. Steven & Fiona

Fran is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. The house was beautiful - home from home. Was described as not suitable for anyone with a disability but just to point out it was located up a very steep hill and to get to the house there are multiple steps ! The house is close to a school so can be a bit noisy during school time when they are playing out and the school bell! Very Spanish area which we loved, Multiple restaurants, a supermarket, great coffee shop/ bakery - if u walk down the mountain to the sea front and turn left you will come across some gorgeous cove type beaches and fabulous restaurants - great seafood places and very reasonable prices. We only discovered this half way through the week and so glad we did ! We went into Malaga centre a few times. Walked it along the coast and got taxi’s for around 8 euros. We were 6 women, clean rooms missing mirrors, comfy beds, lovely pool, ceiling fans - may be hot in summer. We had a great time - will return to the area x

Wonderful in every way. Great patio and outdoor space. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well-equipped. We made great use of the swimming pool and game room. Excellent customer service from the hosts. Immediate and helpful when there was a minor issue. Overall a great place. Would be happy to stay there again.

A fantastic week spent with friends at Casa de la Cuesta. An incredible view from the Villa and beautiful pool. Frigiliana is such an incredible village as well. There were a couple of things we felt let down by, however. Upon arriving a full 1.5 hours after check in, cleaning staff were still present. Also, we lost wifi access 3 days prior to departure and there was no real effort made to restore the connection. This was especially inconvenient as our entire party was from Canada and not everyone had mobile internet access. All in all, we had a lovely time and would visit again.

we had a wonderful stay at Sophie's villa. There was a very generous welcome pack to greet us and the villa was peaceful, private, nicely decorated and the beds were so comfortable. Lovely clean, crisp bed linen. Sophie was extremely responsive with any queries we had and very flexible with arrival times too. We had a car but often used the local bus to get to frigiliana town and the bus stop was just a 2 minute walk away.

What a beautiful place this is! Fresh oranges from the trees and just enjoying the mountain view. Pool area was nice with sunbeds and it was kept clean. The apartment had all the necessary supplies as well as extra towels and blankets. Even the fireplace become handy as we experienced the massive electricity blackout during our stay. The hosts handled this situation as well as possible and kept us up to date. 100% recommended.

I can't say enough about this beautiful one-of-a-kind home and location. It was like something from a luxurious dream! I would highly recommend staying if you want a real treat.

We had a lovely week long stay in Gonzalo's house. Wish it could have been longer! The property is set on a hillside, so the view across the valley to the sea was spectacular and we never tired looking at it! The good size pool was away from the house, so very private and peaceful. The garden was colourful and well maintained. Gonzalo was there to meet us and immediately very friendly and helpful. Before our arrival he supplied a few extra sun loungers which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend if you want a quiet spot, only ten minutes by car to beautiful Frigiliana and also accessible to the sea and nightlife, within a twenty-five minute drive. An ideal spot, go ahead and book, we would not hesitate if we were to visit the area again!

The owner of the villa was really welcoming and lovely! He was very kind to my kids and us on our arrival and responsive to any queries. He even provided a couple of bottles of homemade wine (which was delicious)! The photos do not do the villa justice. It’s a lovely, big space and the pool and patio are fantastic. It’s great for couples, families or solo travellers (but probably a bit big if you are travelling solo. I would recommend having a car if staying here, although Frigiliana is a 20 minute walk. It’s 5 minutes by car. Nerja is about 15-20 minutes by car and easily accessible with lots of parking options. The pool was amazing and a great temperature. Lots bigger than the pictures make it look and sun all day long. Finally - the views are just amazing from the villa. You can’t fully appreciate them from the pictures. Just perfect! Will would love to stay again! I highly recommend this villa. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in de prachtige villa van Gabriele. Naast het schitterende uitzicht was ook de villa perfect. Het ontbrak ons aan niets en alles was in uitstekende conditie. Heerlijk zwembad, mooie ruimtes en goede meubels en inventaris zowel binnen als buiten. Fijn dat ook zaken als peper en zout, olie, toiletpapier en afwasblokjes aanwezig waren. Heerlijk geslapen in de mooie slaapkamers met fijne bedden. Het contact met Gabriele en Georgina op locatie was super. Kortom een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen en te genieten en met de auto ben je zo op verschillende drukke plekken zoals prachtige dorpjes in de buurt of het bruisende Malaga. Kortom we hebben een fantastische tijd en zullen niet aarzelen terug te komen. Dank Gabriele!

Villa Tres Flores er et praktfullt hus i klassisk spansk stil. Huset ligger høyt oppe i åssiden med utsikt til fjellheimen og bondegårder. Det er ekstremt bratt å kjøre opp og ned fra huset. Vi satte stor pris på at vi hadde firhjulstrekk. Vi storkoste oss ved bassenget og i uteområdet generelt. Det blåser ofte i høyden, men det gjør også at det ikke blir så varmt. Hvis vi hadde utfordringer løste det seg raskt med kommunikasjon med eieren, Willem. Han fulgte oss opp hyppig. I tillegg fikk vi god hjelp av Willems lokale belgiske hjelpere, Anja og Pieter. De stilte alltid opp hvis vi trengte hjelp. Det eneste som kan trekke ned på oppholdet er utekjøkkenet. Det fortjener en oppgradering. Hvis vi en gang kommer tilbake til Competa, vil vi velge Villa Tres Flores!
