The Hideaway

EricaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Linda is a phenomenal hostess. She made us feel at home and we loved our chats with her and how pleasant she was. She treated us with homemade food and gave many good recommendations of places to eat and to visit. The house is beautiful, super clean, spacious, quiet and peaceful. There's a beach right at the doorstep and the lovely coastal drive is nearby. The room is lovely and the living room is bright. We loved reading there. We're glad we chose her property for a break and how relaxing this time in Oyster Bay Lodge was. Both the hostess and the place are five stars.

Single room in family home near Duncannon beach

NualaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Clare is a lovely warm person and so relaxed and easy going and was very welcoming. I could tell she is an experienced Airbnb host, she was friendly yet gave me privacy. Had plenty of information about the area in the room too. There was tea and coffee facilities in the room but she also left some biscuits and actually gave me some milk for my tea. Duncannon is an amazing seaside village and Clares home is right at the beach. I know i will be back to explore the area.

Huntington Castle

LisaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The rooms and grounds were stunning. Alexander was very accommodating and friendly, my parents and I felt right at home. The tour of the residence and garden were fantastic and hearing about the family history before staying in this lovely home was fascinating. Our stay Huntington Castle was the best of our Ireland trip hands down.

Close to the sea

Lovely place to stay, very clean and quiet. Mary was lovely to deal with and left clear instructions. Few nice pubs and restaurants nearby that are great for seafood. Beautiful scenery and very near the water. Highly recommended! We had a car which made it easy to zip around - would recommend having a car if you want to get around. Will def be back ☺️

I received a very warm welcome from Shirley, who gave me clear instructions. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean and tidy. I had a very good relationship with Phil, he was a real pleasure. I also recommend it for families, it's 100% child-friendly.

Luxury 2 bed cottage on Tintern Trails

AmyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
For anyone considering Ireland for their next trip and Airbnb options, please, please, please choose the Garden Cottage on Tintern Trails. You will not be disappointed. The cottage is even better in person than in the pictures (and the pictures are fabulous). It was perfect for us. The beds were so comfortable and the shower/bathroom quite luxurious. The comfy sitting area with wood stove is delightful as is the well-appointed kitchen. We drove to a lot of popular spots each day and even made our way out to the west coast and interior. Not a bad drive if you're up for it. My main recommendation however, is to not ignore all that is wonderful around you. The Tintern Trails and Abbey (with walled garden) are right in your backyard! We found wonderful spots to eat in Duncannon and surrounding areas, only about 10 minutes by car. Lastly, your hosts are amazing people. Friendly and warm and very willing to offer up recommendations and advice. We loved our stay and will return next year!
