Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Fruitland

We loved our stay! It was quiet and in a lovely location. The house was super clean and we felt at home. It had everything we needed for our visit to the area and plenty of space to work remote too. There was a power outage when we arrived and for most of the evening and Jessica was very responsive. We enjoyed visiting some local places like cat cafes (Cats at Play Cafe & House of Black Cat Magic) and breweries (Whistle Hop, Turgua and Highland). I love to thrift and can recommend the Asheville Humane Thrift Store.

We came to Vincent’s countryside Airbnb and with our 2 and 4 year old girls. It’s so beautiful and they’ve upgraded some of the furniture since the pictures were taken, e.g., the kitchen table. I wish I could have read all day on the wrap around porch while viewing the surroundings. The girls loved watching the cows graze on the grass. For those with little ones, we’d recommend the Park at Flat Rock (huge park with bathrooms, a fun playground, and lots of walking paths). We’d also recommend The Arboretum, which was a pretty place to walk around. Lastly, Sierra Nevada Restaurant and Tap Room is great for all ages. There’s play areas for kids, which made it a top notch place for us. Back to Vincent’s place, it was so homey and had comfy beds. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a lovely stay - the place is so cute, clean, and has everything. I truly felt like I was going into a spa, it smelled clean and fresh plus had fun amenities. Would love to go back!

The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our dog for the weekend. Beautiful, peaceful property and a cozy home. David and Arlene were wonderful hosts and were very welcoming! We appreciated the great communication and all the cottage had to offer. Would stay here again!

This place was perfect! We felt so comfortable and relaxed. It smelled good, looked good and was really clean! The hot tub was easy to use and we took advantage each night the weather allowed. We didn’t want to leave and will absolutely stay again! Graham was very responsive and helpful. We had not a single thing we didn’t like or wished was different. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Oh yes, easy storage to unpack and “live” here for a week!

I would highly recommend staying at the Hideaway. It is clean and the furniture is very comfortable. It was a perfect location for our stay. Downtown Hendersonville is an easy walk.

We had a lovely girls’ weekend in this rental house! Lots of space to spread out and we so enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck, looking at birds and listening to the sounds of the woods. We had a problem with the oven and Shannon was immediately responsive and helped us resolve it. The house is very comfortable, lots of nice spaces to sit and chat and laugh. My only note is that the bunk beds are really for children - they are not equipped with adult quality mattresses so the friend in that room didn’t sleep well. It would be great for kids but not so much for adults. Still an amazing space and I would definitely return.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous home, surreal location. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for some amazing memories all weekend.

We enjoyed our stay. Rodney and Dulcy were very accommodating. Their apartment is conveniently close to a relative we were visiting in Woodfin.

5 Stars — A Perfect Stay! Allison and Cory were incredible hosts! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was a breeze, the space was spotless, and every little detail felt thoughtfully curated. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The home was cozy, stylish, and had all the comforts you’d hope for (plus a few extra touches that made it feel special). Communication was quick and friendly, and they made sure I felt welcome the entire time. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. Cindi was friendly, hospitable, and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to eat nearby. We would stay there again.

Lynn's place was perfect for our family. The backyard is gorgeous and the view is truly incredible. Lynn went above and beyond as a host to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Asheville.

Sweet upstairs unit surrounded by lovely greenery. Easy check in experience with easy going hosts that like to accommodate. Close to downtown Weaverville but down a lovely dead end road with very little traffic and pastoral views.

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville, and we're very comfortable in this peaceful setting. Kelle and Max have created a beautiful space to stay. It's very clean, well equipped, and all directions and instructions clear and helpful. Kelle is a famous communicator, and quick to respond. Many thanks to them for providing a space that enhanced our travel experience! I will be recommending this place to friends!

Angela was wonderful, helpful and responsive. Place was smaller than appeared in photos , but that is often the case with photograhy. A little noise from above, dogs barking and their nails clacking of floor and conversations could be heard, but it was not too distracting. The outdoor space is beautiful, serene and private, unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there so could not enjoy it as much as we would have likes to. Angela was extremely responsive to a couple of things that needed fixing, she really went out of her way to accomodate us and make us feel welcom. Had some great suggestions of things to do. Would highly recommend if you need a small, beautiful space to chill.

Susan’s place was quiet, clean, and spacious! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our dog crates inside as well as a backyard and neighborhood for us to walk with our puppies! The sectional was great for movie watching at the end of a day exploring!

Pros: very communicative host who responded quickly, clean, great price, just as described. We had never been to flat rock and were surprised that the town had several restaurants, a waffle house, and gas stations less than 10 minutes away. Cons: not quite as much privacy outdoors as we imagined. There are several other rentals on the farm and guests have to drive right by the pond/front porch of this rental to enter/exit the property. Just about every hour during the day a car was passing right by us. It’s not the hosts fault at all, but one car was particularly loud and disruptive. It just took us out of the moment sometimes, so it’s not a secluded type of environment if that’s what you’re looking for. And it wasn’t advertised as such, so I didn’t take away any stars for this.

We enjoyed our time at Emerald Treehouse. The mountain views are exceptional. lots of trees and it feels really private. I will say getting up the hill to the property was a challenge. I'm so glad we drive a SUV. The road is gravel with deep holes, so be mindful of that. Another thing is the house had a lot of pet hair on the furnishings. I know the description said pet friendly, but pet hair was all on the couches and the pillows. We didn't have any pets with us. Overall a beautiful house, I can tell it is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful area, peaceful surroundings and we loved the screened in porch. The road to the driveway is steep and a little worn down but we had no issues in our small SUV. Great place to watch birds and wildlife.

The house is a very cute out in the mountains! The creek in the backyard and the sauna are easily the highlights!

We had the very best time. Loved the porch, the bathtub, the chickens, the dog! Clean and cozy and everything we had hoped for.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cabin! It was so peaceful to eat outside on the deck while soaking up the beautiful mountain view! The cabin had everything we needed including dishes including a well stocked kitchen. The only thing that might be helpful for other renters to know is that the parking area is tight and you need to be comfortable backing out of the steep drive down by the house. We did not need 4-wheel drive to get in or out of it, but we were here in June. There is a parking area at the top, but it would be a decent walk to carry bags, etc down to the house. It was also tight for us to turn around up there but doable in our Ford Explorer. If we had driven our Dodge Ram 2500, we would not have been able to turn around up there, and we would've had to back out a very long gravel drive down to the road. This does not impact my five star review. Amanda is an amazing host! We would definitely stay here again!

Shealy and Eddie are wonderful hosts! Their home is beautifully decorated and well-thought out - perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin is peaceful with numerous areas for reading or socializing. We loved our stay. Shealy and Eddie are very responsive and were available throughout our stay. We would love to visit again!

Such a beautiful space and in a beautiful area. They owners are so kind
