My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

We had a truly wonderful stay – for all five of us! The house and the outdoor area were absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, charming, well maintained, and well equipped. The garden was stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and private. Ilaria and Francesco were the kindest hosts – helpful, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. We’re already thinking about coming back for a summer holiday (the pool and AC are perfect!). Great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. It was an amazing birthday trip and really good value. Hier ist die überarbeitete Version mit dem Zusatz zur Umgebung und dem Wunsch, wiederzukommen: ⸻ Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Gegend und ist perfekt, um abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Das Haus war sauber und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Ilaria war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert – alles hat super geklappt. Das Highlight ist der große, sehr gepflegte Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen – ein richtig schönes, grünes Paradies. Der Pool macht das Ganze noch besser. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

I don’t have the words to describe how beautiful this apartment on the hillside is. The apartment itself is nice and cosy and spacious, and the kitchen contains a little bottle of olive oil produced from their own olives. But it is the location, the gardens and the little farm and the view across the valley which can take your breath away. Sonia is happy and welcoming and patient. She showed us around the wine and olive farm and was always approachable when we contacted her. There are two guest apartments side by side, but it is quite private nonetheless. Note that you can hear sounds from the other apartment quite easily. I cannot recommend this enough! Would love to come back.

We stayed 5 amazing days at Il Gufo and loved every minute. Jacopo is an amazing host and went out of his way throughout to make our stay great. Even meeting us locally and showing us the way to the house. We highly recommend staying at The Owl. The location, high in a valley provides spectacular views and is perfect to relax and unwind. We do not know what was better. The location, accommodations or the fact that we met Jacopo and became immediate friends. That combination made for the greatest memories. Also Luba, their beautiful dog, immediately loved us and greeted us ever time we returned. A little secret, he is an amazing chef and if you get a chance to go to his restaurant do it. Also his dinner recommendations were great. We had dinner at Corte Dei Frati 2 times. Thank you Jacopo for making our 30th Anniversary trip so amazing. We feel privileged to have met you and we will return on our next trip to Italy. You are an amazing person and host. Love Steve & Vicki

This home is the epitome of a classic villa in the chianti region. Lecchi is very a small village that is walkable to a market, bar & cafe, and one of the best dinner spots we visited in our entire trip to Italy - the Malborghetto restaurant is a must! We rented a car for this week of our trip, and would highly recommend doing so. There are many nearby villages with great trattorias and shopping options - and gorgeous views everywhere you turn. Casa di Lyndall is a roomy, well appointed home with all the amenities you could need. Very clean, and very comfortable, and the view out the front windows is beyond compare. Lyndall was very responsive and provided us with excellent recommendations of things to do during our stay. Clementina greeted us when we arrived and was so sweet and helpful. There is nothing we would change about our stay!

I visited Adriana with some girlfriends and we had a truely lovely week. Adriana was happy to help if needed but also gave us enough space. I would definitely come back and recommend this place for a group of friends or even family’s because it’s quite a quiet area. You would definitely need a car to go shopping or for trips to see some sites in Tuscany. It was really clean and Adriana gave us enough towels and even beach towels! We felt very at home and welcomed!

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.

We loved staying here! the views out of the terrace and even the bathroom window were something I’ve never seen before, right out of a movie. About a 15 minute drive to the closest city, San Miniato, which has great restaurants. This was such a charming & peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, and the visits from the neighborhood cats on the terrace was a bonus! :)

Absolutely loved our stay at Tomasso Holiday House – a hidden gem in every sense of the word! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the privacy and tranquility of the location. It felt like our own peaceful retreat, tucked away in the hills, yet fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were top-notch – a perfectly stocked kitchen, cozy living spaces, comfortable beds, and little touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. Getting there was half the fun – the windy roads leading up to the house were scenic and added to the sense of adventure. We actually looked forward to each drive, with sweeping views and a real feeling of escape from the everyday. Tomasso Holiday House is the kind of place you dream about coming back to. It offers the perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and charm. 10/10 – would absolutely stay again!

El lugar es muy bonito, tienes todo lo necesario para tener una gran estancia sin duda regresaría. Muy recomendable.

Our stay in Domenica's place was absolutely flawless. It's a beautiful surrounding, we stayed for 2 weeks and the house facilitates everything you'll need nicely. Only small drawback is the shower cabin which is somewhat small. But everything you need is in close proximity (if you go by car anyway) and all the go-to places in Tuscany are easy to reach. Domenica was very helpful and offered us own-made food several times which was top notch, especially the pizzas. I can absolutely recommend this place!

A/C mit Heizfunktion. Küche bestens ausgestattet (Geräte, Geschirr, Utensilien, Gewürze, Öl , Spüli etc.) Modernes Bad, ausreichend frische Handtücher. 2 Schlafzimmer (Durchgang) und Bad/WC im Obergeschoss, Wohnzimmer und Küche im 1. Stock. Im Untergeschoss separates kleines Appartement mit Bad/WC und Küche und Waschmaschine. Zur Begrüßung erwarteten uns Wein, Wasser und ein Frühstück. In Empoli (ca 10 min.) großes Einkaufszentrum, Geschäfte und Lokale. Wer antike Architektur und Möbel, Natur und Ruhe liebt wird sich wie wir sehr wohlfühlen! 🤩 Aufgrund mehrerer steiler Treppen für Kleinkinder und mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen nicht zu empfehlen. Ich möchte mich auf diesem Wege nochmals bei Sandro und seiner zauberhaften Frau für den herzlichen Empfang bedanken! Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit in ihrem Haus! Die Besitzer sind sehr sehr freundlich und waren flexibel, trotz unserer kurzfristigen Buchung. Man hat uns persönlich begrüßt und persönlich verabschiedet. Die beiden sind großartige Vermieter! Ich habe 3 große Hunde (2 Weimaraner, 1 Herdenschutzhund) und es war absolut kein Problem, diese mitzubringen. Natürlich sind meine Hunde auch brav :) aber des Öfteren musste ich in der Vergangenheit die Erfahrung machen, das andere Vermieter nur 1 Hund oder kleine Hunde akzeptieren- hier war das absolut kein Problem und auch kein Vorurteil, wie es mir oft passiert! Ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!!!! Das Haus ist sehr sauber & toll eingerichtet. Großes Dankeschön :) wir kommen wieder!

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

Really great place in a beautiful location. Cristina and Nancy were super helpful and provided everything needed for our quick one night stay. Just wish we had more time to enjoy it! Would definitely come back and recommend.

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

Da elisabetta siamo stati benissimo, tutti i servizi sono stati impeccabili, a partire dal check in dove elisabetta è stata flessibile riguardo all’orario è estremamente disponibile. la casa è perfettamente attrezzata di tutto il necessario e impeccabile a livello di pulizia. l’ ambientazione poi è da sogno. consiglio assolutamente un soggiorno, non ve ne pentirete!

Cannot say enough about how great this little gem is- great location for outdoor activities and stunning beautiful scenery. Very quiet on the top of this hillside Road… With lemon trees in an olive Grove how much better can it get! You can see the town of Vinci and way beyond from this height. The hosts could not have been any more kind and generous with their time and suggestions. Simply a wonderful Airbnb!

Logement idéalement placé pour visiter la Toscane, à égale distance de tous les sites d'intérêt. Excellent accueil, l'appartement est en très de jardin au calme. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. Petit plus, un joli chaton tout mignon pour nous tenir compagnie dans le jardin. Nous recommandons à tout point de vue !

Het appartement is prachtig en rustig gelegen. Het is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt en brandschoon. In de tuin is het heerlijk om te ontbijten of savonds te genieten van de stilte. Het oude stadje is op loopafstand. Mooie stadjes in de buurt om te bezoeken en natuurlijk het geweldige Toscaanse landschap. omdat het zo warm was zijn we een dagje naar het strand gegaan, wat een uurtje rijden is, dus goed te doen. Barbara en haar familie zijn vriendelijk en gastvrij. Aanrader!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines merveilleuses dans la maison de Daniela et Armando La cadre est idyllique, la maison correspond en tous points à la description et la communication est parfaite. Daniela est une hôte adorable qui est extrêmement reactive et qui prend soin des résidents tout en respectant leur tranquillité. Elle n'hésite pas à donner des conseils tres appreciables. La maison est idéale pour une famille qui veut visiter les sites principaux de la Toscane. Nous la recommandons chaleureusement!
