This is an ocean front private villa with the Sea of Japan right in front of you. Adjacent to Ayukawa Beach, you can enjoy the blue sea during the day, the sunset on the horizon in the evening, and the fishing lights and starry sky at night.This is a special location where you can feel the Sea of Japan, which changes its appearance every season, at any time during your stay. The building uses virgin cedar wood for all ceilings, floors and walls. The space, wrapped in the scent and warmth of wood, creates an unusual time where you can relax from the heart away from everyday life.You can see the sea and the sunset from the bath, and you can have a luxurious time while soaking in the bathtub. The inn is a 2-story private building. It has 4 single beds on the 1st floor and 1 double bed on the 2nd floor, and can accommodate up to 6 people. There is also a terrace overlooking the sea, perfect for morning coffee or evening time. The surrounding area is one of the best fishing spots on the Echizen coast. Fishing boats depart from Ayukawa Fishing Port right in front of you, so it is also recommended for a stay for the purpose of fishing. In addition, we operate a seaside cafe, Maare, 3 minutes away by car, where you can enjoy a BBQ without having to bring anything. Rent an entire Edo-period storehouse. Relax in a rural hideaway.

We renovated a two-story earthen-walled storehouse built in the Edo period and turned it into a guest house. Although it is not spacious, a kitchen with an IH hotplate has been installed on the first floor while retaining the atmosphere of a storehouse with its earthen walls and thick beams. The first and second floors are fully air-conditioned for a comfortable stay. You can experience the soundproofing unique to a storehouse, the coolness in summer, and the warmth in winter. There is a sauna facility about 5 minutes away by car, Anekawa Onsen about 15 minutes away, and Kita-Omi-no-Yu about 20 minutes away. There are many tourist spots unique to Nagahama, which has often been the stage for history, in the surrounding area. Hikone Castle, a national treasure, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Nagahama Castle, Ishida Mitsunari's birthplace, Kotani Castle, one of Japan's premier mountain castles, and Shizugatake, a battlefield, etc. It is also less than a 20-minute drive to the Sekigahara Battle site. Besides the area around Lake Biwa, there are plenty of things to enjoy besides history, such as Nagahama Tetsudo Square, Japan's oldest railway station building, the Yanmar Museum, where children can also play, and Kurokabe Square. You can also enjoy gourmet food such as Omi beef, duck dishes, grilled mackerel somen, noppei udon, salad bread, duck, and small ayu.

This is a quiet, Japanese-style accommodation where the owner lives. 🏡 With a site area of 180 tsubo, a wooden one-story building, 6 rooms, and 10 futon sets, it is ideal for two families or groups.
