Charming old farmhouse for rent on beautiful Varaldsøy. Located inland, about 500 m from the ferry dock, with a beautiful view of Hardangerfjorden, Folgefonna and Kvinnheradfjella. The house is about 90 m2, plus an attic with 3 bedrooms/attic rooms. 11 good sleeping places plus baby bed, kitchen and bathroom are refurbished in 2022/23. Terrace, outdoor furniture and barbecue. Great hiking areas right outside the door, about 500 to the beach. Bed linen and towels are not included but can be rented. 14 ft boat with 9.9 hp engine can be rented.

Welcome to Nautaneset! Originally an old croft that is now used as a holiday home. The cabin is located undisturbed by Sævareidsfjorden with road all the way up. Here you get access to a charming old house, large green areas, good swimming opportunities, fishing opportunities and a boathouse with access to kayaks, fishing equipment, outdoor toys, fire pan and outdoor furniture. Outside the boathouse there is a large plot and a wood-fired hot tub. The area is child and animal friendly. Water from well, drinking water from tank.

Alone In The Woods With Your Own River Nearby

The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Ever wanted to live in an fruit orchard in Hardanger? Welcome to life on a fruit farm in Hardanger, with outrageously good views and wonderfully fresh air. You’ll stay in a charming wooden cabin (or chalet, if we’re feeling French) sleeping up to seven people. Set among orchards, cideries, mountains and fjords, it’s a perfect base for hikes like Trolltunga and Dronningstien, nearby waterfalls, fresh fruit in season, and even kayaking or SUP on the fjord. Seafront retreat - pier, boatrental & fishing camp

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

Cabin 3 at Vikinghaug. A unique place to find peace. The view from the mini cabin is amazing. You look straight out to the water, the mountains and the waterfall. This is a peaceful area that brings peace of mind. The cabin is handmade and a lot of timber has been used. Some of it is also recycled. On the property there is also a wood-fired sauna and a hot tub. To use this facility, you can contact the host or go to the reception to book. There is an extra charge for this.

A pearl by the sea.

Quiet and nice place about 4 km past Strandvik city center. There is a shop-restaurant/pub and a great park. Sand volleyball courts are there too. The house is idyllically located close to the lake. Canoe can be borrowed and the fishing opportunities are good. The boat in the pictures can be used. We also have some bikes that can be borrowed. Excellent for anyone who wants a holiday in quiet surroundings. All cleaning is taken care of by the host
