BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. A double bed as well as a folding sofa bed allow 2 guests to sleep comfortably, but 4 people are also possible. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Your Behrens family

Idyllic apartment in an old farmhouse

Not far from Lake Ratzeburger in a village location, surrounded by fields and nearby forest, the apartment (90 m²) with private entrance can accommodate up to 4 people. The bright rooms are inviting, south terrace (60 m²) with table, chairs and loungers as well as a small garden complete the offer. Bed dimensions (cm) 180 x 200 and 160 x 200. From here you can explore the beautiful surroundings. Bicycles are available (see photos). Additional information: Washer/dryer by arrangement for € 5 each

A loft in the countryside.

Outside uii, inside oha! A modern wooden house was built into a large agricultural building. Absolute tranquility, miles of views, stars at night and plenty of space to relax in front of the door plus pond. On the edge of the Schaalsee biosphere reserve, Lübeck, Wismar, Schwerin, the Baltic Sea beach, Ratzeburg and much more can be found within a radius of about 30 km. Hamburg is 100 km away. In Rehna (about four km) there are several discount stores for shopping, a hardware store and a pharmacy.

Our small, old construction trailer offers simple and cozy accommodation for anyone looking for an overnight stay on a bike tour between Ratzeburg, Schaalsee and Schwerin or wanting to escape the luxurious and fast-paced life of the city for a while. When was the last time you watched the swallow children during their flying lessons or listened to the humming of the bumble bees in the grass? You can enjoy the picturesque sunset spectacle with us in the front row. Live simply - makes you happy!

THE BETTERHEIM - sustainable holidays and environmentally friendly vacation! In the thatched brick house from 1840 there are 4 apartments that are renovated in an energy-efficient construction and equipped with ecologically valuable interiors. We want to make our dream of sustainable country life a reality for design-conscious families. A small insight into a plastic-reduced everyday life The furniture & accessories with which the apartments are equipped can also be ordered for home.

Family-friendly vacation in Uhlehuus

The apartment is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1850. In 2012, we carefully awakened the Uhlehuus from its slumber and restored it sustainably. The apartment is located in the main house, where we also live, but is completely separated and forms a self-sufficient unit with its own entrance, and its own large terrace with garden. The spacious property is fenced. Your children and your four-legged friends can romp undisturbed and make friends with sheep and goats.

Vacation with sauna and hot tub by a swimming lake

Detached vacation home in a small, quiet vacation village for 6 up to 7 people with 3 bedrooms, 1 sofa bed, 2 bathrooms, whirlpool, sauna, fireplace, bright living area with open kitchen, stair gate, covered terrace with barbecue, garden, seating, hammock and your own rowing boat & SUP. The bathing lake with sandy beach and sunbathing lawn is approx. 50m away. A place to relax and unwind! Surrounded by beautiful nature with many excursion destinations in the area.

Gut Niendorf Carriage House

A lovely cottage with a thatched roof. The former coachman's house is located on the grounds of the Niendorf estate. From their own terrace, our guests enjoy the magnificent view of the estate park. The well-known cities such as Schwerin and Wismar and the Baltic Sea can be reached in no time. Free parking for 2 cars is right by the house. There are 5 sleeping options in the remise. For additional people, guest rooms with bathroom/pantry can be booked.

"Goldmädchen - Honeymoon Suite" A luxury-class beach villa welcomes you on the first sea line. The 125-year-old villa "Goldmädchen" was faithfully renovated in 2021. The result is four spacious, modern and exclusively equipped apartments. Enjoy the view over the Bay of Lübeck from the rooftop terrace of the Goldmädchen. The apartment has two bedrooms, a living/dining area with kitchen island, a bathroom, a sauna and a large roof terrace facing the sea.

Country house near the Schaalsee

The house is in a very quiet location in the biosphere reserve Schaalsee. It is 10km to Lake Schaalsee, 5km to Lake Neuenkirchen, 50km to the Baltic Sea (dust-free!!!). From the house can be started directly to bike tours, on adjacent hiking trails. There is also a swimming pond on the very natural property. The house is very bright and very quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is also a large easel available. Pets have a generous spout.
