Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Galena

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Drake House Properties, and my husband and I love it every single time!! This place was no exception to the others we stayed at the beautiful exposed brick, beautifully decorated, awesome location right in downtown Dubuque! The hot tub is amazing and the coffee shop right downstairs is DELICIOUS. I’m sure we will be back to stay again soon at one of these properties! :) we love the wide variety of things to do in/ and around Dubuque and this place is the BEST place to stay! Thank you so much Jenn for letting us stay at your properties multiple times! :)

This place is awesome! We came with our baby and dog and it was perfect for all of us. Place was the perfect size for us and had an everything we needed. Great location close to downtown Galena and other activities. Comfortable bed and it was great to have 2 bathrooms!

The house was amazing! Not only did it accommodate the whole family but it had a great dining room/kitchen to allow us to cook breakfast and relax with some coffee before heading into town. It's in a great location and has a perk of the Taphouse right below it (can you say perfect for late night beers?!) Miss Kitty went above with amenities and overall aesthetics of the house. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a larger house in Galena.

Our stay was great! We loved the location and being able to access amenities at Eagle Ridge. The condo was clean and accurately described. We would highly recommend.

This place was absolutely B.E.A.U.T.F.U.L! The staff were super sweet and friendly. So many things to do at Galena. Also, there was a table with “to do activities” That was very helpful. I would 100% come back. Thank you all staff for being such a good host.

Jan was great!! The place messed up our room but she did her best to make it right. We appreciate her attention and her desire to fix the situation.

Jan’s condo is a perfect location for galena. It’s not far from downtown or Eagle Ridge. It’s like the comfort of home without being home.

Great place to stay while visiting Galena especially if you plan on golfing at Eagle Ridge!

A great place to stay that was about 20 minutes to chestnut and 15 minutes to Galena. Fireplace makes for a nice touch when it’s snowy and cold outside

First, and most important for me is cleanliness, this place was immaculately clean! The beds were so comfortable including the sofa bed. The bedding were brand new! It is located in a quiet and secluded area sorrounded by nature, birds, even rabbits. The location was about 15 minutes or less to downtown Galena. We even drove to Iowa for a short drive to Starbucks! The kitchen has all the necessities to cook a homemade meals if you wanted to. There were snacks left by Melissa, which we appreciated. It's the small details through out the home that made it that much special. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! This adorable Airbnb was perfection… cozy, quiet, super clean and beautifully decorated! You will love it like we did!

Cozy yet spacious retreat! We loved backing up to the trees with a view of the lake. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch while wrens warbled right outside. Perfect distance from Galena to feel like a getaway but still close to get there pretty quickly with a scenic drive.

We loved our stay here! The house is huge and there are so many great amenities that make this an amazing value. We made use of the theater room, game room, hot tub, and the pickleball and basketball court outside. The setting is beautiful and private - surrounded by big trees and right next to a sprawling golf course. The location is good, although I do wish it was slightly closer to the downtown area since we went back and forth a lot and it's about 40 minutes round trip each time. But it was worth it for the privacy of the location and the quietness that it afforded. We loved our visit and would happily return!

Stayed here for a girl’s trip! The home is lovely. The game room downstairs was a blast. The deck in back was perfect for drinks and conversation at night and calm morning coffee in the morning! Todd is quick to respond if anything is needed. Would definitely go back

Really nice place in an excellent location. The Galena Territory is pretty big, but this is very close to the Eagles Ridge resort and amenities, and also just steps away from a swimming pool which is shared by only Walnut Hill residents. Very quiet and peaceful! Great communications and responsiveness from Jeremy, thank you!

Even better than advertised. Sandy was wonderful and so was the home. We were very pleased with our stay and her communication. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, close to the strip, around golf courses, wineries, great food, fishing, historical places, and kayaking. Thanks again Sandy, we will be talking to you soon I’m sure.

Great place to stay. Really quiet neighborhood. The place had everything we needed and was cozy. Clubhouse was great. Anthony was quick to respond to anything we needed or any questions we had.
