Monthly Rentals in Galnewa

My husband and I spent 2 days at Sumedha and her family's place, and the experience was great! The place is amazing, a treehouse as you wanted to. The amenities are more than enough, the bedding is very pleasant. The cabin is at the end of a cul-de-sac so we are quiet. When it comes to the host family, it's a golden family! They are at our disposal for any questions, very helpful (for visiting recommendations, ordering a taxi or other) and the evening meal was a delight! We recommend eyes a second thought!

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.

Ashita is a very friendly host which will find time for you and bring you to do all the different activities of the place. He is available at any time and it is enough to send him a text if you need his help. Great experience!

Super nice stay and very nice host and also very nice cook, who served us dinner and breakfast twice. Everything was perfect and the location is super quiet. Perfect for relaxing! There are many mango trees, banana bushes and cashew trees. There was nothing wrong! A safari was organized for us and we didn't have to worry about anything. We would definitely come back without question!
